House is a medical detective who shares amazing powers of observation with Sherlock Holmes. (Holmes / House - pretty similar!) Plus, Sherlock Holmes lived at 221B Baker Street. House lives (in most seasons) in an apartment house numbered 221; his apartment is Apartment B. Holmes was an on and off user of "the 7% solution", injecting himself with cocaine when life wasn't challenging enough. House is defined for five seasons によって his use of Vicodin.
