Peter Kirkland sat in his and his older brother, Arthur Kirkland’s living room. He had just overheard his brother talking to somebody about adopting Peter, because he had become too much of a hassle. Peter as much as he hated Arthur sometimes, didn’t want to leave him. He heard the Brit hang up the phone and stick his head out the door to talk to Peter. “Peter we need to talk about something, so come here please”. When Peter heard this he got up and went to Arthur. “What is it Iggy?” the younger nation asked anxiously. “Well…” the Brit started “you know how あなた know how as a nation I have lots of responsibilities,” “yeah…so?” he 発言しました “I can’t take care of あなた and my nation at the same time” the younger boy sat there a moment staring at his brother before speaking “o-oh, so who’s going to take care of me…Arthur?” the Brit was taken aback によって the fact that his brother called him によって his full name it was always “Iggy” (or occasionally Jerk) and tried to comfort his brother. “Listen Peter I don’t want あなた to leave but it’s for the be-“Arthur was interrupted によって Peter running out of the living room and into his ベッド room.
Peter sat on his ベッド for what seemed like ages not knowing how to react to what he had just heard. His brother….didn’t want him. “Did I do something wrong?” Peter pandered and then decided to go outside to clear his head. “Arthur, I’m going out” Peter called has he headed for the woods out back behind his house. He climbed up a 木, ツリー and sat there as he watched the sun set in the east.

Arthur sat in his study talking to a much taller man, Berwald. “So, あなた promise to take very good care of Peter right?” Arthur asked in a very serious tone that showed he cared for his younger brother. “Ja” was all Berwald said. Arthur continued interrogating the Swede. “Also, there will be lots of 宇宙 for Peter to play around right?” again the Swede nodded confirming the Brit’s wishes. “So, Mr. Berwald, would あなた like to meet Peter now?” Arthur asked as he got up and moved towards the back door to call Peter inside.
When Peter saw Arthur he ran back to the house. “Yes Iggy, what is it?” The young boy asked “Mr. Berwald is here Peter” the Brit explained. “He’s a nation just like us, and is planning on adopting you.” Peter walked up the steps to get back inside the house where he saw the extremely tall Swede. “H-hello Mister” peter 発言しました timidly as the Swede stuck out a hand for him to shake.
After getting acquainted at the back door the three people went back to Arthur’s living room to talk some more. “So… Mister, will it be just the two of us together または do あなた have other family?” Peter asked hoping that Mr. Berwald had other people living with him, because having just two people isn’t that much fun. “No, it’ll be me, あなた and m’ wife Tino” the Swede explained. “Cool, so I will finally have a Mum and a dad, that’s great.”
The Brit and Swede talked for a little while longer before Arthur noticed Peter was about to fall asleep. “Peter, why don’t あなた go pack your things so あなた and mister Berwald can leave” Arthur told his younger sibling. Peter for once didn’t argue with his brother and went to go pack. Within several 分 Peter was packed and about to head out the door. “Arthur I-I don’t want to go” the young boy pleaded for the last time silently crying. “I-I’m sorry Peter, but it’s for the best” the Brit told his brother, while wiping away his brothers tears. Berwald picked Peter up, “I promise we’ll take care of him he called as he walked to his rental car.

When peter woke up he could tell he was no longer in Britain. “w-where are we?” he asked “Sweden” Berwald answered. “Welcome to your new home.”
