Sorry About this I actually published the whole thing so far previously but removed it because it was too long so I will be putting up 3 chapters at a time from now on.

Chapter Six
Getaway
I ran into the living room and opened my trunk. Everything was in there. Lugging it behind me, I slipped out the front door into イボタノキ, プライベート Drive and stuck out my wand, like Mum had told me. Sure enough, I heard the honk of a horn as the Knight Bus came speeding up. As the back of it came level, a pimply youth 発言しました ‘Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for- ‘
‘Eleven sickles, right?’ I cut in hurriedly, eager to get away from the Dursleys.
‘Uh… yep.’ 発言しました the guy.
I handed him the money and got on. ‘Where あなた ‘eaded?’ he asked.
‘Um… Diagon Alley?’
‘Right then. ‘Ear that Ern? The Leaky Cauldron then.’
I hoped the Leaky Cauldron was near Diagon Alley, but I didn’t say anything. I slumped down on a bed. It’ll be good to get back to the wizarding world. BANG! The bus was off.
As I watched the world speeding によって out the window, I remembered. Harry! I had left him alone with the Dursleys without a 秒 thought. How could I be so selfish! He was having a way harder time than me, had he was probably in in big trouble with Vernon, now. And I had just run off on the Knight Bus. I didn’t even know if he knew about the Knight Bus. If I had waited, if he needed to get away, we could have gone together! But no, I hadn’t even thought about it, and now I was merrily off to Diagon Alley while he was stuck at the Dursleys. Plus, he had committed serious underage magic, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was expelled from Hogwarts.
I lay down on the bed, feeling sick with guilt and the sharp movements on the bus. Maybe I could ask to go back. I could pay extra. I opened my mouth to do just that, when the bus stopped so suddenly I was thrown violently forwards.
‘The Leaky Cauldron.’ 発言しました the conductor guy.
‘Um, sir, I was wondering if I could go back…’ I 発言しました carefully.
He mocked horror. ‘Are あなた mad? Ern ‘ere jus’ took あなた all the way from somewhere in Scotland innit, Ern?’
‘Ar.’ 発言しました Ern.
‘An now あなた want to go all the way back? Only one way. Sorry.’
I got out, carrying my trunk. BANG! The Knight Bus was gone. I looked into the night. I’m so sorry, Harry. I’m so sorry. I looked around for Diagon Alley. No sign of it anywhere. I decided to go into the Leaky Cauldron.
It seemed to be a hotel as well as a pub, so I went up to the bar. An old man with no teeth was there.
‘Excuse me,’ I tried, and he looked up. ‘Could I – er – have a – er – room または something?’
He laughed at my manner. ‘Room Ten. How long do あなた plan to stay?’
‘I don’t know.’
‘Well, in that case あなた can pay as あなた go. Follow me.’
He led me through the musty building, and up some stairs. He stopped at a door with a number ten on it. ‘Here we are.’
‘Thank you.’
I dumped my トランク onto the floor and sat down on the bed. I’d find Diagon Alley tomorrow. または catch the Knight Bus back to Surrey. Vaguely, I heard someone walking into the 次 room. I drifted off into a troubled sleep.
Chapter Seven
Diagon Alley
Snapping and ripping. That’s the sound I woke to. It was coming from the 次 room. The sound of growling, snapping and paper ripping. A familiar voice yelled in surprise. I couldn’t put my finger on who it was, though.
I checked the time. It was quarter past seven. I dressed and went down the stairs to see about some breakfast, and there was sausages and eggs available. I ran back upstairs to get some money, and あなた won’t believe who I saw coming out of room eleven!
‘Look,’ I started. ‘I am so sorry I left あなた at the Dursleys. I don’t know what I was thinking! I really am sorry. I – .’
Harry looked up from the door. He was grinning. ‘Hey. Are あなた all right?’
I stared. ‘What?’
‘It’s fine, ok? あなた were probably in a hurry.’
‘Well - .’
‘Are あなた staying here too?’
Anyway, I got out my money and we went down, and Tom was waiting there. ‘Ah. Morning kids. Sausages? Eggs?’
‘Yes please.’
After breakfast, I had to ask ‘Where’s Diagon Alley?’
Harry laughed. ‘We can go there now, if あなた like.’
I followed him out the back door of the Leaky Cauldron, and there was a brick wall. He got out his wand, and tapped the third brick from the left, above a dustbin. The ウォール started to move, every individual brick started turning and moving sideways, and soon there was an archway. And there through the archway was Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley in my imaginations was amazing and wonderful, but the real Diagon Alley was even もっと見る so. Any wizarding ショップ あなた could think of was packed into this long street. Shops for animals, shops for brooms, shops for wands. And at the very end of the 通り, ストリート stood the towering structure of Gringotts bank.
The 次 couple of weeks were extremely fun. I exchanged most of the muggle money I had earned from Marge at Gringotts, and I then had a nice fat money bag. We visited every ショップ in Diagon Alley, and ate in a number of different cafes and things.
But the ショップ we visited the most of all was Quality Quidditch Supplies. There was a new ほうき out, the best one in the world yet. It was called the Firebolt. Every 日 we returned there to admire this amazing broom. It had an acceleration of 0-150 miles an 時 (I didn’t know how many kilometres that was)! It was all we could do not to spend every last galleon on the Firebolt.
‘Imagine playing on this one,’ I 発言しました to myself one day.
‘Do あなた play Quidditch?’ Harry asked. I jumped. I had completely forgotten he was there.
‘Yeah. I was a beater for Eaglesbane at Parrings.’
‘Nice. I’m Gryffindor seeker.’
I couldn’t help noting that Quidditch was another thing we had in common.
Chapter Eight
Truths and Trains
One 日 we were sitting outside Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour. It was not long till school started, a week and a bit, I think. Harry was finishing off his History of Magic essay, and I, who had left all my homework in Australia, was flipping through one of my new school books; Unfogging the Future.
Suddenly I heard the sound of plates crashing. I looked at Harry to see if he noticed. He had. I stood up to go help clean it up, but I noticed something that made me forget all about it. あなた see, after I had decided that Harry was not the Harry that stopped あなた Know Who, I had stopped looking at his forehead all together. I mean, why would I have a reason to? But there, on the right side, was a small, lightning shaped scar.
I froze my mouth open. Harry noticed, and looked at me questioningly. I shook my head, and continued towards where the smashed plates had been, but someone had already cleaned them up. Did this change anything? Of course it did! I needed to be alone.
‘Um… I left something at the Leaky Cauldron.’ I 発言しました quickly. My mouth was dry. I scooped up my book, turned around and ran back down Diagon Alley, leaving a very bewildered Harry Potter far behind.
I shut myself in room ten, breathing hard and thinking about the last few weeks. I wasn’t afraid of admitting it now; I did sort of fancy Harry. He was nice, good looking, and, up until recently, I thought to be a perfectly normal boy.
But this… Now I had found out that I had actually taken a fancy to probably the most famous boy wizard in the world, what did that make me? We had been friends, but still, it was effectively me… I couldn’t even find words to describe this! Even now, I still have a crush on him! Did this make me a… OH, MY GOD!!! I DON’T EVEN KNOW!
I wanted to yell as loud as I could. I walked over to the ベッド and started punching the mattress from above. A few minuted of pummelling vented at least some of my frustration. There was a large dent in the ベッド now, so I flipped the mattress over and re-made the bed.
Maybe I’ll just keep to myself the 次 few days…
