How could someone possibly (still) like Twilight?

That is a poor generalization roselaughsalot. I, for one, am not deluded enough to imagine that I could find "a man like Edward Cullen". Twilight is purely a work of fiction, and a ファンタジー fiction at that. Personally, that is why I like to read, and in this case, like to read Twilight, because it is simply a form of escapism.

I know that ヴァンパイア and werewolves, and Edward Cullen and Jacob Black along with them, または not real and are completely fictitious. And I do not doubt many other readers know it too.

Despite this rash generalization, あなた did make a far point in that Twilight is not everything. Twilight is only a small part of my life, and I try to distance myself from the hysteria that surrounds the majority of Twilight fans. They can be irrational and obsessive, but that does not mean that all are like that.

I would also like to add (not in regards to roselaughsalot) that although Twilight is at times badly written, it is irrelevant to the story. Stories are, as I 発言しました before, a form of escapism. And if あなた - as I am sure many other people are - growing tiresome of the Twilight universe, try your best to tune it out. If this is too hard for you, if あなた find there is no way around it, あなた should be comfortable knowing あなた are not like that, it’s fine to not agree with people, it’s called freedom of speech. あなた are able to express your opinions in the correct way, on a フォーラ または domain where あなた can ディベート with others in an appropriate way.

I like Twilight :)

I dont think that its the right way to put 'true love' and thinks its right, Most people on here just jump to conclusions saying that EVERY Twilight ファン is going to go out and find a boy friend just like Edward and fall deeply in 愛 with him..Its not like that for some, I like Twilight because i just loved 読書 it, i enjoyed 読書 about Vampires,werewolves,humans all mixed together in one world, some may think its 'badly written' and 'how could ANY one like it' But people have their own oppionons and 'i liked 読書 Twilight'! if あなた dont like that then fine, think what あなた wanna think.

Because Twilight awoke a longing in every girl for true love. But they need to see that Twiliight is a crap book and is badly written. But they want someone to care enough for them that they would risk they're lives for あなた または they would go in a depression if they parted with you. cough cough can あなた say lamer. Twilight is an obsession story and bad message to girls all around.

People still like Twilight, especially girls, because they want a man like Edward Cullen, または Jacob Black. I'm NOT a Twilight fan. I simply hate it and i hope people realise that Twilight isn't everything.

my honest answer to this 質問 is that I DON'T KNOW!!!
harry potter is ten million times better than twilight and it was ok for people to like twilight when it first came out, but now? seriously?

well i think twilight and New moon its really GOOD AND AMAZING. But i 愛 both,and i think its always will be someone some like Twilight もっと見る または Harry potter more,but its NOT importen, all have diffrent taste,i 愛 both and cant choose between hp and twi:D

I know the one reason why people like Twilight, and EVERY Twilight ファン will deny this, but it is the one and only truth.

They like Twilight because Edward is hot. They wish a super hot boy would stalk them too.

The story? Doesn't matter. Edward's personality? Doesn't matter. As long as he is pretty, that's all that counts. Put it this way: if SMeyer had made Edward ugly (I know she never would, that's not the point). How many people would still like Twilight? Hmm... lets see... um... zero?

They also want a boy to obsess over them, which is exactly what Edward does. It's "true love" if they are ridiculously obsessed with each other, and that's the way it goes. At least, that's the way it goes in a Twilight Fan's mind. Harry Potter fans, on the other hand, know what 愛 really is.

I have been sitting here at my computer for like 10 分 and i cannot think of any reason people still like Twilight. Lets all just say Harry Potter rocks and let that be the end of this.

Okay so here's my Twilight experience:

I have two sisters and I am the oldest. My middle sister had read them all and loved them. My youngest sister didn't get it after 読書 the first three. I read the first one with both of them breathing down my neck wondering how I'd take it. It's a super quick read and I didn't really take it seriously. My sis was disappointed, but encouraged me to read the others, so I did.

I have to say that the last three 本 are not necessary. The first one was もっと見る than enough for me. They're addicting and ridiculous while you're 読書 them. It's like a car wreck. But once あなた come out of the four-book coma, あなた realize that they're really just, eh. Fluff, bad writing, completely silly. Even while reading, あなた have 100 WTF moments per book.
Harry Potter is an exciting story that I can read again and again. I don't think I could ever stomach Twilight a 秒 time. Why the hell are we comparing these two completely different things?
