Is there a range at which spells can be cast?

I mean how far away does a wizard have to be from their victim before they can cast say the Avada. I noticed it seems to be a spell that's always cast reasonable close up, but is that just an aiming issue, または can they cast it from wherever so long as they have an uninterrupted line of sight to the victim?

Just wondering after 読書 some of the responses to a few of the HP character against Twilight character questions.

is there any explanation how fast is vampire 'fast' または how hard is they body actually? (would crushing them with 1 ton solid metal from above enough to kill it?) never been explained either (not in detailed way)

または maybe it's work like a bullet? only the very trained one can hit from a far like hit wizard/auror?

I'd imagine that there would have to a range. With summoning charms, the farther away an object is, the harder it is to summon. And that's with a spell designed specifically to work over distance. I'd imagine that, for all the other spells, the farther away あなた are, the less chance あなた have of the spell reaching the intended target.

Hmm, that would make sense. I wish JK had been (even) もっと見る detailed with her information, I would have loved to know whether a spell had a maximum distance it could be cast from または if it simply dissipated in power the longer it had to travel till it reached it's intended target... though the later seems unlikely, as it would mean that technically あなた could survive the killing curse...?
