I adore Luna. I have nothing against Ginny, but sometimes it feels like Rowling did the Harry/Ginny romance just so Harry could be part of the Weasley family officially.

@Pith agreed totally! Luna and Harry where perfect for each other and had a very natural build up. Luna was a much more developed character than Ginny and her connection with Harry was undeniable. I have nothing against Ginny personally, but her romance with Harry totally came out of nowhere, she should have moved on from her childish crush and Harry's feelings for her came out of blue and where so shallow. HG seemes to only happen because JK Rowling wanted a one big happy Weasley family and she didn't develope HG romance at all.

I have nothing against Ginny, but I don't really like her that much with Harry. I'd prefer Harry with Luna, and if there was no Luna, I would prefer Harry with Hermione even though I like Ron/Hermione SO much.

I would've liked to have seen Ginny and Neville together. I thought they were sweet, but Ginny and Harry? No! I agree with the others saying that JK Rowling only paired them to make Harry an official Weasley. Luna and Harry have much more in common and have several wonderful scenes together. Why couldn't they end up together?!
