Please help me!! My guinea pig has a tooth problem and seems very uncomfortable. How can I help him?

My little guy, Finley, has a really bad tooth problem, one of his teeth is coming out. We dont quite know why, but he is going to the vet's very soon. What (besides mushing up his food, because I've already done that) can I do to make him もっと見る comfortable? Please help me he isn't even a 年 old yet!!
