It's Perseus not Persus and he is considered to be the first legendary hero in Greek mythology, as Dementia44 発言しました he defeated Medusa and saved Andromeda from the sea monster (that's what he's mostly known for) btw, he's also the only hero in Greek mythology who lived a long life :)
Well, Pegasus was born from Medusa's blood when Perseus decapitated her. Pegasus was tamed によって Athena and 与えられた to Perseus to save Andromeda, but this is only a late addition to the story of Perseus, who flew on his own with the sandals loaned him によって Hermes.
