I don't know if Tywin would be a completely different man... but he would definitely be different in some ways.

not perfect but close to how I pictured she would be like. Her mother was horrible though....

how could she be there to buy Genrdy when she ACTUALLY was with Stannis in the book?

Sam is a wonderful character, though they kinda make him look like a total idiot in the movies.

Tywin Lannister is a hard man but not a demon and I don't think it has anything to do with him being
a widower.

And I like the Starks(well...some of them)

I do believe in that.

The thought of my heart. WHO cares if another Stark dies? Character in this story fall like flies why does it make a difference if the next one is a Stark? And just think about it, the Starks should be happy to get clean deaths... Theon Greyjoy, Jaime Lannister... I bet each and every Stark would prefer a quick death. I mean yes, I feel sorry for them, like I feel sorry for most of the characters that die, but honestly, what's with the no more Stark deaths? Why isn't it, no more Targaryen deaths? What have the Starks done to deserve this exceptional fondness?
Tywin's present character has nothing to do with his grief over Joanna Lannister. He is just badass like that, he had always been. However, Jaime, Cersei and Tyrion would all be different persons if Joanna had lived and Tywin would be happy. It's a pity Joanna is dead. I would have loved to see the woman who ruled Tywin Lannister.

Also the Joanna one. Everything would have changed.
