How did あなた discover FMA?

For me I was looking through the アニメ part of Adult Swim on saturday nights and sunday mornings and I saw Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on it and the name sounded interesting so I looked at the background of the show,the characters and it seemed really interesting so I decided to record it on my DVR so I could watch it when I woke up and from that episode which was episode 21 of Brotherhood Advance of the Fool which I laughed so hard in my first episode watching and from then on I've been a ファン FMA!

Well I was watching Bleach and this advertisment came on for Brotherhood and I thought it looked cool. Then I saw that it was available free on demand so I ended up watching episode 4 of Brotherhood. Unfortunatly the only other episode avilable on demand at the time was episode 10 and well we all know what happens in that one.
I 愛 what I saw though so I went out and bought the mangas then I got Brotherhood on DVD. Then after I finished those up I found out that there was a 2003 version so I bought those as well.

My friend recommended it to me and I have been obsessed ever since. ^^
FMA is such a great show...it has a fantastic storyline (in both the original and Brotherhood), great and original characters, and strong lessons.
It comes into my everyday life: in math class, we were talking about equivlance...I fall alseep, teacher asks me question, I wake up and yell "Equivlant Exchange!". または in science class...Teacher: Let's talk about alchemy." Me: What? I'm awake!"
There is also a pretty personal reason as well...
It's like the greatest thing in my life. It makes me happy. :3

I'm a nerd, and I've always been interested in alchemy. An アニメ with alchemy in the title? Couldn't pass it up. I watched the first episode of the 2003 アニメ and I was HOOKED. So here I am now... Obsessed with Alphonse and cats...

my story is pretty boring: i had put it on my to-watch 一覧 for a few months w/o ever actually getting around to starting it...and then i realized that it was a pretty 人気 アニメ and i should watch it so i would get the 'haha dont call ed short ' jokes on ファンポップ and' noooo hughes death made me cry so much!!" so mainly i watched it so i could get a few jokes....-_- now i 愛 it for soooooo much もっと見る than that and its my all time fav アニメ EVAH!!!!!!!!!! ( btw, another reason i started it was because my all time 2 お気に入り v.a's were starring in it: paku romi, (ed) and kugimiya rie!!(al)!! YAYAYAYAAYYAYAYAYAYA XD
