Although, she didn't know that he kissed her, so she thought he dumped her eventhough they weren't dating. Then, once she gets out of the hospital she runs away at the site of Kyo, trying not to smile at the site of him. He tells her it's okay and that he loves her too. Finally she asks if it is okay to hug him, he says yes, and the curse if lifted. However they do not キッス in this romantic scene.

He does キッス her though several times once they reslove their loves problems to the end of the sries.
