I think passionate and tragic is also about them, but everlasting is so... Freffy. Their love made it through literally everything. Even when it got as hard as possible they still didn't give up on each other and kept loving each other. Till the very end. They tried to fight it, but they never could. They always kept coming back to each other. That's why they both took risk in the first place and that's why it ended on Freddie holding her hand and Effy whispering: "I love you, I love you, I love you". And nothing - time, misery, death - could ever stop either of them loving one another.

I think you pretty much said everything I wanted to say. I don't think Effy could ever love someone else as deeply as she loved Freddie. And they are definitely and ultimately THE everlasting love of Skins!

Thank you and you can call me just Mary:) Freffy make me a hopeless romantic. And I agree completelly: Effy could never love anyone as deeply as she loved Freddie, what she felt for him scared her at first, but it was too strong to resist. She couldn't hide or run away from it. And she took risk, she let herself love him even though she knew that she wouldn't be able to handle this feeling and it makes her "weak". I think she felt that Freddie will be able to protect her, that he was the right guy. and that was true. He was and he did. When she was weak he "fought her demons", he defended her, he was there when no one was.
