A dull pain shot through CC's head, as she opened her eyes. She saw she was in the penguins' HQ, lying in her bunk. She saw the main room was empty, but heard voices form the lab. Skipper and Kowalski were talking.
"So what are her injuries?"
"Nothing もっと見る than a minor concusion, but nothong too serious. In fact, she should be awake soon."

CC sat up and climbed out of bed, just as Skipper came out of the lab.
"How あなた feeling?" he asked.
"Been worse before," she replied. "Is Rune ok?"
"She's fine."
"Did Blowhole get away?"
"Yeah, he did. We didn't fight too long before Private found you, and we let Rune out of the cage. While doing that, Blowhole gave us the slip."
"I see," CC nodded, and went into the lab.

"What's up, Kowalski?" she asked. He looked up and smiled.
"Not much. I'm just experimenting with radioactive chemicals. Nothing interesting."
CC picked up a pair of safty goggles and watched.
"It is too interesting," she remarked. Kowalski chuckled, and continued with his work. CC watched intently, hoping to learn everything about science.

Rune fell through the fish-bowl entrance, landing with a thud. Skipper's head jerked up, to see what the noise was.
"You ok?" he asked, as Rune got to her paws.
"I'm fine," Rune replied, dusting herself off. "Where's CC? Is she ok?"
"She's fine. She's in the lab with Kowalski," Skipper replied. Rune thanked him, and scurried into the lab.

Kowalski and CC looked up from their experiments, as Rune shut the door.
"Hey, Rune!" CC said.
"Hi, CC," Rune waved. She went up to the bench, and climbed onto a スツール to see.
"What are あなた doing?"
"Experimtenting with radioactive chemicals," CC answered. putting some safty goggles on Rune's eyes. Rune leaned on her elbows, watching as Kowalski and CC worked.

After about ten minutes, Rune stood up straight.
"I wanna help!" she annouced, reaching to grab a test tube, and knocking over some chemicals as she did so. The beakers fell on the floor, samshing to pieces, and the liquids spilling everywhere. They mixed together, and exploded!

Skipper jumped as the HQ vibrated from the explosion. Rico and Private leapt down from the ice floe, to see what the problem was. The lab door fell off it's hinges, to reveal two smoked covered penguins, and one raccoon whose 毛皮 was all messed-up. Skipper, Rico and Private's beaks hit the floor.

"Kowalski," Skipper said, when he found his voice. "Did your experiments explode again?"
"Not exactly, Skipper," Kowalski replied. "Rune spilled some of my chemicals, luckily NOT the radioactive ones, and they kinda mixed together and-"
"KABOOM!" Rico finished his sentence, throwing out his flippers.
"Yeah, that."
"CC," Skipper sighed, turning to 発言しました penguin. "Maybe あなた should take Rune back to the petting zoo. It's getting late, and she needs to go to bed."
"Yes, sir," CC replied, taking Rune's paw. Rune looked back at the four penguins, as she was led to the entrance. Skipper looked annoyed and angry, Kowalski looked annoyed too, Rico looked...crazy, and Private looked slightly upset.

"CC," she said, frowning, as CC made her comfortable in her little nest of leaves and feathers. "Are Skipper and Kw'oski mad at me?"
"Um," CC thought for a moment. "Not so much mad as...uh...slightly frusterated...to say the least." She looked away, shuddering slightly. Rune frowned more. CC noticed.
"Don't worry about it," she assured. "You just curl up into bed, and have a good nights sleep. We'll deal with it in the morning."
"Can't I just go 'poligise to Kw'oski? I'll fell better."
"In the morning," CC insisted. "Good night." She tugged Rune in, and left.

Rune frowned again, and turned on her side. She sighed.
"I just wanted to help."
