Is there a way of using bullet points in an article?

I've tried [*], which is the format I've used before on other websites, but here that doesn't do anything when I プレビュー the article. Is there another way to do bullet points here? または will I have to use numbered points または just asterixis instead?

I tried the long press . suggestion but all it did was create a chain of dots like...... That must only work on a phone または tablet not a laptop. I think * works OK as a replacement though.
