His hand hurt so much he couldn’t speak.
“Can I speak with あなた for a moment? Outside?” the female cop said. She grabbed his arm and pulled him outside. As soon as the door closed she let him go.
“For God’s sake, it’s your first 日 back. あなた really going to ruin it now? Control yourself” she hissed. “Did あなた hear what he said? He’s basically telling us that the poor woman had it coming” he snapped.
“I heard him, okay?” she said. Her face got a little softer. “Look, I know it’s hard, 与えられた the circumstances, but あなた have to keep it together”
“I know”
“How’s your hand?”
“I believe it’s broken”
“Hey, あなた know, that man in there?” she nodded at the door. “Rumor has it he can do all kinds of tricks with hands”
“Isabel? Has anyone ever told あなた あなた need to get a boyfriend?”
Isabel shot him an annoyed glance. “That’s not what I mean. Word has it he can heal people”
He widened his eyes. “That’s him? Wow, a healer with a violent character. How ironic” He stepped back in the room and Isobel followed him inside. Cas was still standing against the ウォール and the male cop walked towards her. “I hear あなた can fix people. I want あなた to fix my hand”
Cas touched the hand and it was healed. “I’m sorry about your wife” he said.
The man started struggling again, but Isabel pulled him back. “It was all over the news, Paul”
“And I’m sorry the real culprit was never caught” Cas said.
The door swung open right at the moment Paul wanted to パンチ Cas again. Paul lowered his arm and turned around.
“Detective Morgan? We need あなた in hearing room 2”
Paul nodded and walked outside. While the door was open an officer walked by, while he was holding a woman によって her arm. Cas looked up the same moment the woman did. Cas frowned, not knowing why she was here and Meg waved and winked as she passed by.

Cas stroked his hair and tried to keep his breathing under control. Meg didn’t understand. He needed more. He had lied about the pain being back, but he hadn’t lied about needing another dose. He opened the upper buttons of his shirt, suddenly feeling feverish.
He hurried to the dresser and opened all drawers and cupboard doors. He searched through them, checking all boxes, finding nothing. He slammed everything shut and began to rub his fingers again.
“If I were a medicine cabinet, where would I be?” Cas mumbled trembling and out of breath. He ran to the stairs and sprinted upstairs. He went to the bathroom and opened the mirror cupboard.
“Got it” he said, sighing relieved and he grabbed all boxes that had medicines in it. He took out all the strips and swallowed the pills one によって one.
He leaned against the cold, marble ウォール and sank down on the floor. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Gerard got ホーム from his work. He hung his コート on the rack and walked into the sitting room. He saw Zoey sitting in the couch, 書く something.
“Eh, what are あなた doing here?” he asked and Zoey looked up.
“I’m 書く a goodbye letter” Zoey smiled.
“For me?” Gerard asked cynical. Zoey stood up and walked to her ex-husband.
“No, not for you” she shook her head. “From you” She touched his forehead with her index and middle finger and Gerard fell unconscious.
As if he was a feather she carried him upstairs and put him on a chair. She took the rope which she had kept in the room as a preparation and winded it tightly around Gerard’s neck. The other end she tied to the chandelier. She pulled the chair away and a 秒 later she heard a snap.
