On my opinion, エモ is someone that listens to エモ music(rock 音楽 that has a high emotional effect and usually talks about past experiences) and dressing emo(jeans, long hair, blah blah blah). Thats what i consider like 'minimum requirements' to be emo. But the エモ life style is like 書く エモ 音楽 and stuff like that. On my opinion, being sad and depressed and suicidal..and cutting urself and all that shit is just a fuckin stereotype. Some of my non-emo フレンズ r stereotypical of me, thinkin im dark and cut myself and all a that.
jst cause あなた エモ doesnt mean u listen to エモ music, i admitt i cut my stomach i listen to エモ 音楽 but i now alot of ppl who are エモ and listn to pop 音楽 nevr rock only because it makes them happy
well i guess i disagree, that would be like, being a rocker, but not liking rock. but i also believe any 音楽 that has a big emotional effect on u is エモ 音楽 so..yeah..
well エモ means emotional... エモ is a state of mind, not a fasion statement its a way of life its how we live understand and see things just how few ppl are emotional, angry, upset, sad, dark, curious, beautiful, and the best ppl ever
