Elvis Aaron Presley was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935. His twin brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child. He and his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee, in 1948, and Elvis graduated from Humes High School there in 1953.

Elvis’ musical influences were the pop and country 音楽 of the time, the gospel 音楽 he heard in church and at the all-night gospel sings he frequently attended, and the black R&B he absorbed on historic Beale 通り, ストリート as a Memphis teenager.

In 1954, Elvis began his 歌う career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis. In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor. によって 1956, he was an international sensation. With a sound and style that uniquely combined his diverse musical influences and blurred and challenged the social and racial barriers of the time, he ushered in a whole new era of American 音楽 and 人気 culture.

He starred in 33 successful films, made history with his テレビ appearances and specials, and knew great acclaim through his many, often record-breaking, live コンサート performances on tour and in Las Vegas. Globally, he has sold over one billion records, もっと見る than any other artist. His American sales have earned him gold, platinum または multi-platinum awards. Among his many awards and accolades were 14 Grammy nominations (3 wins) from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award which he received at age 36, and his being named One of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Nation for 1970 によって the United States Jaycees. Without any of the special privileges, his celebrity status might have afforded him, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

His talent, good looks, sensuality, charisma, and good humor endeared him to millions, as did the humility and human kindness he demonstrated throughout his life. Known the world over によって his first name, he is regarded as one of the most important figures of twentieth century 人気 culture. Elvis died at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977.

I first heard Elvis's amazing voice on the night of クリスマス eve 2000. I was 8 and I fell in 愛 with the music. My grandma was a huge ファン and she has all his records. If あなた really want to hear amazing, I recomend buying a record player and albums. They are way better sound quality then cds...by far!
So I've listened to his 音楽 a lot growing up...I now own most of his movies, & over the years I have collected 300 albums and cds. I have loved him from the first 秒 I heard him on that クリスマス eve night...I hope to hear his 音楽 played for the rest of my life and it wouldn't be クリスマス without Elvis playing in the back ground!
音楽 is a big part of my life...it sure wouldn't be the same without a little Elvis and Paul Stanley in my day. And I really think 音楽 can make あなた feel better...Elvis's 音楽 does that for me. So if your having a bad 日 just try listen to Burning love, Devil in Disguise, または Blue Suede Shoes and not smile! Sometimes a little Elvis is all あなた need. ^__^ x0x0x

Well, when my blue moon turns to ゴールド again
When my 虹 turns the clouds away
Well, when my blue moon turns to ゴールド again
You'll be back within my arms to stay

When the memories that linger in my heart
Memories that make my ハート, 心 grow cold
Well, あなた know some 日 they gonna live again sweetheart
And my blue moon again will turn to gold

Well, when my blue moon turns to ゴールド again
When my 虹 turns the clouds away
Well, when my blue moon turns to ゴールド again
You'll be back within my arms to stay

When the memories that linger in my heart
Memories that make my ハート, 心 grow cold
Well, あなた know some 日 they gonna live again sweetheart
And my blue moon again will turn to gold

No no no no no no no no baby, I ain't askin' much of you
Just a big-a big-a 大きな塊, ハンク o' 愛 will do

Don't be a stingy little mama
You're 'bout to starve me half to death
Well あなた can spare a キッス または two and
Still have plenty left, no no no
Baby, I ain't askin' much of you
Just a big-a big-a 大きな塊, ハンク o' 愛 will do

You're just a natural born beehive
Filled with honey to the top
Well I ain't greedy baby
All I want is all あなた got, no no no
Baby, I ain't askin' much of you
Just a big-a big-a 大きな塊, ハンク o' 愛 will do

I got wishbone in my pocket
I got a rabbit's foot 'round my wrist
あなた know I'd have all the things these lucky charms could bring
If you'd give me just one sweet kiss, no no no no no no no
Baby, I ain't askin' much of you
Just a big-a big-a 大きな塊, ハンク o' 愛 will do
