Bridge: I cant believe あなた are dating a senior!

Gwen: Not just any senior, the hottest in school!

Courtney: - she says softly- I know….I’m the luckiest girl in the world…… (half smile)

Bridge: Uh-oh……here comes trouble. (turns her head in one direction to see Courtney’s     boyfriend coming in one direction and the boys in the other)

Trent: こんにちは baby (kisses Gwen on the check)

Geoff: watz up honey? (grabs Bridgette around the waist)

Duncan: こんにちは (nods his head towards Courtney)

Courtney: (starts to say hi back but stops when someone grabs her tightly around the neck      and flings her into the lockers.)

Alejandro (Courtney’s Boyfriend): -yelling- were have あなた been?!?!

Courtney: I was on my way but then I-

Alejandro: -whispering- (grabs her face) don’t ever stand me up again. (then he crushes     his lips to hers) -louder so the gang can hear him- I missed あなた babe! I wanted to     have lunch with あなた today…

Courtney: I know honey…I……I had to talk to a teacher about a project.

Alejandro: Okay well, I have to go to class (pushes off of the lockers and lets go of her     face) Ill see あなた tonight at my house? (says it like a 質問 but really means she     HAS to come)

Courtney: (nods her head) see you. (Alejandro walks off)


*THE 次 日 AT SCHOOL*

Duncan: Have あなた guys seen Court today? (Bridgette nods her head NO) I haven’t seen     her all day.

Gwen: Maybe she is in the cafeteria…..it is lunch time. (they all walk into the cafeteria)

Trent: there she is! (he points to her at Alejandro’s table. She has on longs sleeves even     though it is summer time and her bangs are falling into her eyes)

Geoff: Is she okay? (He, Duncan, and Trent are all starring in her direction, Duncan looks     worried)

Gwen: I’m sure she is fine….probably just tired. I heard that she spent the night at     Alejandro’s house last night, if あなた know what I mean……… (she nudges     Bridgette in the ribs)

Bridgette: あなた don’t thank that she…..do you?!? (shocked she turns her face in the           direction of the boys for support. No one says anything.)



*LATER IN THE PARING LOT AFTER SCHOOL*



Duncan: (walking out of detention. He sees Courtney and Alejandro buy his car.)

Alejandro: Babe. Come on! I told あなた I was sorry about last night.

Alejandro: (he pulls back his arm and sends his fist slamming into her jaw) DON’T     EVER HIT ME AGAIN! (she crumbles to the ground)

Duncan: (running up to them- he pulls Alejandro off of her and pins him to the car)     WHAT THE HELL MAN!?!

Alejandro: (brakes free) I’m out of here! (gets in his car and drives off)

Duncan: Courtney, are あなた okay (he reaches out to touch her swollen jaw)

Courtney: (flinches away) I’m fine Duncan. (she flips her hair and he sees her black eye)

Duncan: Did he do that to あなた last night?

Courtney: (touches her eye) yeah…he….

Duncan: (Grabs her arms and she flinches- he realizes that he is grabbing were giant burses are, He lets go of her.) Courtney, why are あなた letting him do this to you?

Courtney: I 愛 him…..He loves me….

Duncan: NO HE DOESN’T! IF HE LOVED あなた HE WOULD’NT DO THIS TO YOU!

Courtney: I deserve it…. (she pushes her hair behind her ear and gentle wipes the tears off of her purple face.)

Duncan: NO あなた don’t. Courtney, あなた could never deserve this!

Courtney: I…I have to go. (gets into her car and drives off)



*THE 次 日 AT SCHOOL*



Bridgette: (the gang is at Courtney’s locker) Court…do…do あなた have a black eye?

Courtney: Um…yeah, I…..I walked into a door. あなた know how clumsy I can be.

Alejandro: (he walks up behind her and raps his arms around her) こんにちは babe.

Courtney: (she tightens up and jumps at the sound of his voice) Alej…Alejandro….I…I     thought you-

Alejandro: I know…BABE I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YESTERDAY! (he hands her a           flower)

Gwen: Awwww, why can’t あなた ever act like Alejandro? (she elbows Trent)

Alejandro: I got to go. Ill see あなた later babe.



*AT LUNCH TIME*



Courtney: DUNCAN! (he has her pinned to the ウォール and he is キス her neck-they are           out behind the bleachers)

Duncan: Courtney, I….I 愛 あなた (he says as he pulls away) let me be your boyfriend, I’ll     take better care of あなた than him.

Courtney: Dunc-

Duncan: I promise I’ll never hurt あなた like him.

Courtney: I… I don’t know what to say….

Bridge: I haven’t seen her since 3rd period.

Duncan: Oh SHIT! I SHOULDN’T HAVE LEFT HER THERE.

Geoff: What?

Duncan: Courtney and I were making out behind the bleachers and then I left her there     and I BET THAT SON OF A @ITCH GOT HER! (he starts running towards the     bleachers. The gang fallows.)

Courtney: (slumped on the ground, bleeding from a cut on her busted open lip)

Duncan: COURTNEY! (he rushes to her and gentle lifts her shaking body into his arms,     covering her chest with his arm, her clothes were torn)

Gwen: OH MY GOD!

Geoff: Who did this man?!?

Duncan: Alejandro (he glances up at the gang)

Bridgette: ALEJANDRO DID THIS! BUT……WHAT…..

Duncan: this isn’t the first time.

Trent: WHAT!!!!!!?????!!!

Courtney: It…IT started about two weeks af- after w…we star..ted dattt…..ing… (she is     gasping at the pain in her rib cage)

Bridgette: It’s been going on for THREE MONTHS!!??!?

Gwen: (hanging up her phone) the 救急車 is on its way.


*TWO 日 LATER, AT SCHOOL*

Courtney: (she walks in on Duncan’s arm. Her face still bruised and her ribs rapped     tightly)
