Two days after the party, Courtney and Duncan didn't see each other that much, though they were very eager to. Courtney hardly talked to anyone, all she did was stay in her room, figuring out a way to see Duncan again. She also thought to herself about how she had fallen for a Montegue, her 愛 sprung from her only hate. Her family noticed that she was 芝居 strangely, and whenever Justin came over to hang out, Courtney was always up in her room, sulking.

Duncan didn't even do anything illegal at all during this time, he just took walks down the street, thinking about Courtney. When he came back to the house the 次 morning, Geoff and DJ were a little mift with him for ditching them at the party, but they got over it. They had even noticed that Duncan never wanted to go reek havoc on the streets.

We find Geoff, DJ, and Duncan hanging out at a bar where they were playing pool.

DJ:*hits last ball in the hole*Ha! I win, now pay up.

Geoff:Fine*gives DJ $20*

DJ:I guess Geoff isn't as good a pool player as we thought huh Duncan?......Duncan?

*they look over to see Duncan sitting in a chair, his chin in his hand with his elbow resting on the table, and staring off into space*

DJ:Duncan?

Duncan:*shakes head*Huh?..o-oh yea, sure.

Geoff:Duncan man あなた sure have not been yourself lately, what's the problem with you?

Duncan:It's nothing guys, really.

DJ:Well, ok. Hey, me and Geoff are gonna go pick up our girlfriends and grab lunch, wanna come?

Tyler:*sitting on a lounge chair on the lawn, drinking a soda*Hey Courtney, where are あなた going?

Courtney:Umm, just out to eat some lunch.

Tyler:Ok, but be careful, there's a stupid Montegue over there*points to Duncan walking farther away from their house* he might spread a disease または something.
