Cynder the dragon 

Not just a friend. When Spyro and Cynder defeated Malefor, their world was going to be destroyed, Spyro tried to sacrifise himself, but Cynder told to Spyro that she loves Spyro. And in the end after the end credits there is still one video where Spyro and Cynder lives together somewhere in deep forest. I don't have dawn of the dragon- game, but I've watched that game at youtube.
