Isn't it fun that some of the names in DBZ sound like somthing else?

For example Raditz sounds like Radish.

Kakarrot(Goku) - carrot
Vegeta - vegetable
Akira Toriyama just decided they should sound like vegetables, I guess.

But actually, Krillin already means 栗 so あなた don't have to do the 魚 thing. And Bulma means bloomers または something.

Well, that explains why Krillin has a huge head. And I now understand why Trunks is named Trunks. Though, I still think Vegeta named him.
