Considering adoption-Please help

I'm considering adopting a 12 年 old Chihuahua. (At least, the humane society thinks he's 12) He cam in as a stray, his discription says he's a sweetheart. Can anybody tell me anything about an older chihuahua's temperament? I've already researched it (Dogs 101, ect), but are they calmer または have different personalities with age? And how well do あなた think he would get along with other dogs?

update: we went to go meet him, and he was fairly shy, but he was a sweetie. We were still deciding, then I checked the website and it 発言しました he was adopted. In a way I was dissapointed that we didn't get him, but at least he found a good ホーム :)

That all completely depends on the dog itself. Some イヌ get calmer as they get older, some get もっと見る high strung, and some don't change at all. If a dog doesn't get along well with other dogs, that generally isn't going to change as they get older (and vice versa).

My アドバイス would be to see if the humane society will let あなた spend time with him alone, and let あなた bring other イヌ to visit before あなた adopt him.
