So, as あなた may already know the Doctor Who spot has just held it’s first ever ファン of the 月 competition! It led down to a nail-biting tie between Disaster and me… Surprisingly, I won! So right now I’m about to start interviewing myself which is a little weird. I feel sort of self-conceited!

How do あなた feel about winning FOTM?
Oh my gosh! It’s such a great feeling! I’m extremely proud and to have won against those people. It’s weird as they do so much that’s amazing on the spot and they’re so active! In my opinion, they all deserved to win it so much もっと見る than me! I was ecstatic when I was in the draw yet alone when I won! It really makes it all worth it for after years of being bullied for having a Doctor Who lunchbox! Oh dear, I’ve been going on a bit! I’d better stop now before I start thanking “my mom, my dad, God and the whole cast and crew”, burst into tears and start dedicating it to the kid me who “never would have believed I’d be holding this award”.

Would あなた like to say anything to the ファン that voted for you?
Erm… Does thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank あなた count? If so, that! I’m so grateful and it’s so nice to know people think I deserve it!

So, for those who don’t know you, tell us something about yourself.
Well… I’m not that interesting so there’s not much to say. My name is Sophie, I live in England and am therefore very lucky to be able to see the episodes once they air which is a nice change as I’m usually stuck waiting for weeks while my ears are filled with spoilers. I of course 愛 Doctor Who and have done for years!

When and why did あなた start watching Doctor Who?
I started watching Doctor Who when the new series first started. I remember I was on the phone to my dad and I remember him telling me that Doctor Who was on that night. I remember thinking what on Earth it was and I remember asking him what it was, I can’t remember what he 発言しました though! I think I remember looking through the TV guide and seeing a picture with Mickey stuck to the bin lid. And most importantly, I remember loving it!

A lot of people were wary of Matt Smith as the new Doctor. What are your opinions?
I 愛 him! I think he portrays the character so amazingly and he’s completely obliterated any negativity in my opinion! I’ve fallen in 愛 with his character and in 愛 with the actor (though not in that way…)!

There’s been a lot of controversy about Amy as well, how do あなた feel about her?
I think she’s great too, she’s had a really interesting storyline and apart from that she’s a good character. Also it might be that I’m absolutely in 愛 with Karen at the moment (along with Matt). Originally I was worried as I read a quote of Karen’s and I thought she was being conceited but now I realise she was just excited! And there was issues with her being a kissagram but at least she wasn’t a stripogram!

Are あなた comfortable with all the changes being made? The new logo, the new theme tune?
At first I was wary. I know lots of people were annoyed によって all the changes. But they’ve grown n me, I prefer the new スクリュードライバー, ねじ回し, スクリュー ドライバー (bigger is better!) and I think now that the TARDIS and logo and things seem もっと見る “outer-spacey”. The one thing that annoyed me about all those changes was that Steven Moffat was so determined to shake off the old season によって changing everything and yet he insisted on bringing back two old characters. What’s the point in that? That and the fact that they were both characters I didn’t really like (though they did grow on me 秒 time round, still find myself feeling queasy though at the idea of shipping River with any of the Doctors, sorry!)!

Do あなた miss 10?
When he first left I was crying and was really upset to see him go. But the thing with shows like Doctor Who, I tend to have a short attention span, so as soon as something shiny comes along (Matt in this instance) I tend to ditch the now seemingly un-shiny thing and lunge for the sparkles! So although 10 will always have a place in my heart, I now see 11 as the true Doctor. I do miss his fascination with little shops and fondness of the words, “Allon-sy!” and “I’m so sorry” though. But I guess I just have to 移動する on!

If あなた get chance to meet one cast member (old または new) and ask them a question. Who would あなた choose and what would あなた ask them?
Probably Matt Smith I suppose I wouldn’t have a question… I wouldn’t know what to ask and I wouldn’t want to sound clichéd… Besides, it’s kind of hard to ask someone a 質問 when you’ve fainted…

If あなた pick one guest 星, つ星 to appear in the show, who would it be and why?
Hmm… If I was in it would I count as a guest star? It might sound conceited but it would be so awesome for me! It would be awesome for everyone I guess though. And I wouldn’t be greedy! I’d just have a little part! In the knowledge that sometimes those with little parts tend to come back and have big parts… If not, I don’t really know who! Probably someone who was from another of my favourite shows, but not from a really 人気 favourite show, I don’t want it to be commercial! Perhaps Tom Ward if that’s his name?

If あなた could write an episode of Doctor Who, what would happen?
I really don’t know! I’d have to think about that one! But be assured, there'd be plenty of explosions!

What episode would あなた 表示する to someone あなた were trying to make them a Doctor Who watcher?
Hmm… Perhaps Flesh and Stone. But then I’d have to 表示する them Time of 天使 too… So could I do that? I just think it’s got funny bits, scary bits, exciting bits, romantic bits and there is foreshadowing that might make the person interested in seeing more!
