Back at the キャビン the children were very worried and restless. They all sat out in the living room feeling worried, thinking about the adults, and wondering if they would be all right. After trying to reassure the children that everyone would be fine, デイジー and Judy turned on a cartoon for them, hoping that it would keep there mind off the problems, but they were not that easily distracted.
As the cartoon played the children remained deep in thought about the adults who were out in the forest, and what might happening to them. Max sat on the coach playing a handheld video game trying not to think about the possibility of his father, who was not the most coordinated person, having to battle ghosts. Huey, Dewey and Louie sat on the floor 次 to Mickey’s nephews, Morty and Ferdie; the five boys tried to assure each other that their uncles would be okay. “Gosh, I hope Uncle Mickey will be okay,” 発言しました Morty.
“He will.” Dewey 発言しました firmly. “ And I know Uncle Donald’ll be okay too. He’s been in worse situations than this!”
“I’m もっと見る worried about Uncle Scrooge,” 発言しました Louie, “Did あなた see what that ghost did to him?” The boys shuddered as they remembered the ghost carrying away their unconscious uncle.
Webby, sat in the ベイ, 湾 window シート, 座席 and looked out into backyard, she was deep in thought hoping that her Uncle Scrooge would be alright. When she heard the boys, she stood up and said, “I know my Uncle Scrooge is okay! His too tough to let any old ghosts get the best of him!”
“You’re right Webby. Uncle Scrooge has made it through much worse stuff than this.” Huey said, “I just wish there was somethin’ we could do to help. It doesn’t seem right that we should sit around here while the grown-ups are out there risking their necks.”
“Hey! Maybe we should go help them!” Dewey said, as he jumped up “Who’s with me?!”
Before anybody could answer the howling of the ghosts was heard again. Suddenly, they heard the sound of glass being shattered, and saw thousands of glass shards, and a large rock flying through the air. When the children looked over they saw two of the ghosts climbing through the ベイ, 湾 window that had just been broken, and before they knew it the ghosts were standing it the living room with them.
Daisy and Judy, who were in the キッチン making snacks for children, heard howling and the sound of the glass-breaking coming from the family room. They quickly dropped everything and ran out to see what was the matter.
When the two women reached the living room they saw, to their horror, the ghosts standing on the ベイ, 湾 window seat, over the children. They stood stone still, アナと雪の女王 in fear, and unsure what to do.
Max, who felt it was his duty as the oldest boy to do what he could to protect the younger children and women, was standing in front of them holding a baseball bat, “You want these kids you’ll have to deal with me!” he shouted. Then turned to デイジー and Judy, who standing in the entry way アナと雪の女王 in fear, “What are あなた two staring at?! Get the kids out of here!”
This snapped デイジー and Judy back to reality, “Oh right! Come on kids, hurry!” デイジー 発言しました as she grabbed her nieces and started out the door followed によって Judy with some other children.
After hearing Max’s threat, the ghosts started to laugh, “Well dealin’ with あなた should a piece of cake,” 発言しました one of them.
“‘Specially if he’s anything like his old man in the gracefulness department.” The other one added. Then pushed Max out of the way.
“Hey nobody calls my dad clumsy.” Max yelled, after landing on the floor.
Fortunately the ghosts had been occupied long enough for most of the children to escape. Sadly Webby, Huey, Dewey, and Louie still remained in the room, hoping to find out why their uncle was taken. “Where’s Uncle Scrooge?! And do あなた have Uncle Donald now too?!” Louie shouted.
When the two ghosts saw them, they reached over, each grabbing two of the children. “What did あなた do with my Uncle Scrooge?!” Webby yelled, as she grabbed at the ghost’s head. In doing so, she pulled off a mask and revealed the ghost to be none other than a ビーグル Boy. “Gee Whiz! Those ghosts are really ビーグル Boys!” Webby exclaimed.
The shock of loosing his mask caused the ビーグル Boy to become distracted, and drop two kids as he felt his now naked face. “Now look what ya gone an’ done, bird brain! Ya just gone an’ gave us away!” shouted his angry partner, as he dropped the children he was holding, and punched his brother.
While the two ビーグル Boys were busy fighting, the four children made their escape. They found the group just outside the yard where デイジー and Judy were counting heads to make sure everyone made it. Once the kids got the attention of the adults they told them in great detail about finding out that the ghosts were really ビーグル Boys.
As soon as the ビーグル Boys realized that all the children were gone they quit fighting, went outside, and began to look for them. They quickly found the group, not far from the yard, and chased them into the woods.
Meanwhile, with his hands feet and mouth tied, Scrooge was being carried through a dark tunnel によって one of the ビーグル Boys. He could not see a thing, since the only light came from Glomgold’s flashlight. He continued to struggle fiercely, despite being tied up. Finally Glomgold turned to him and shouted, “Knock it off Scrooge! Ye are only making this harder on yourself!”
When Flintheart turned the beam of his flashlight hit the wall, and revealed several large piles of ゴールド nuggets. Scrooge stared at them in disbelief at all the beautiful gold. For a few 分 he was mesmerized. He felt sure that this must be the ゴールド that old Flinty was referring to. Then he started to wonder where he got it and if maybe the nugget Webbigail had found came from the same place.
Thinking of Webby immediately reminded him the children were in danger. He told himself that this was no time to be thinking of gold, and that he had to focus on stopping Glomgold from harming the children. So he continued to struggle while being carried through the tunnel.
In the mean time, the adults were following the trail of slime through the forest, hoping it would lead to where the ghosts had taken Scrooge. They eventually came to a muddy area, where the slime had mostly dissolved, but they could see some large footprints. “Aww Phooey, the slime stops here!” Donald groaned.
“Hmm… My guess is we follow the tracks.” Mickey said, as he studied the muddy ground, where the dryer edges still had traces of the slime around the footprints.
“But, why would ghosts be leavin’ prints?” Goofy asked.
“’Cause they aren’t real ghost genius.” Donald replied. “And I think it’s pretty obvious they did this just to throw us off their trail. We need to look around for the slime trail”, he added.
While the five men argued about whether they should follow the tracks, Minnie sat down on a rock to rest a few minutes. While she sat there she thought about Scrooge, and wondered if he would be all right. Suddenly her thoughts where broken によって a loud howl. The guys’ fight was also interrupted, they quickly stopped what they were doing and turned around. What they saw was terrifying, two ghosts standing less than a foot behind Minnie. “Look out Minnie!” Mickey shouted, as he grabbed her and pulled her away from the ghosts.
The ghosts immediately jumped over the rock and began to come toward the group. “Uh…uh what’d ya reckon we should do Mickey?” Goofy asked, “I ain’t never fought a ghost before.”
Then Launchpad spoke-up, “I have an idea, it’s very simple. Run!”
“Sounds, good.” Mickey replied, “Everybody run!” And the six of them took off, and began to run deeper into the forest.
As they ran from the ghosts Donald started to notice that Duckworth was not keeping up with the rest of them, “Hurry it up Duckworth! What’s your hold up?!” He shouted.
“Oh, I’m just unaccustomed to running like this.” Duckworth 発言しました panting, and trying to catch his breath. “I’m used to getting my exercise doing household chores, like vacuuming and washing the limousine.”
“Well あなた won’t be doing any もっと見る chores if あなた don’t 移動する it!” Donald yelled angrily as he ran back to Duckworth, grabbed him によって the hand, and began to pull him along.
The other four members of the group, all the while unaware of the absence of Donald and Duckworth, came to what seemed to be a dead end. It appeared to be a very large, steep ウォール made of stone. Minnie stared up at it knowing they definitely would not be able to climb to the 上, ページのトップへ fast enough to escape the ghosts. “Where do we go now, Mickey?” she asked feeling very frightened.
Mickey quickly looked to either side of the wall. On one side there appeared to be a hike and bike trail; while the other side was very over grown with vines, bushes and trees. “Uh… that way!” he 発言しました pointing down the over grown path, “They’ll have a harder time following us!”
When Donald and Duckworth came to the dead end the rest of the group was nowhere to be found. “Um… which way do あなた suppose they went?” Duckworth asked, as he looked down the two trails.
“Obviously this one!” Donald shouted, pointing to the hike and bike trail.
“I beg to differ.” Duckworth replied, pointing to footprints he had discovered. These tracks happened to be going down the over grown trail, to the point the vines completely covered the ground.
“They just did that to throw the ghosts off track!” Donald yelled. Suddenly the howling noise was heard again, “Look, I don’t have time to argue! Come with me if あなた want!” Donald snapped, then ran down the hike and bike trail.
“Oh, I’m coming!” Duckworth called as he followed Donald, “Poor boy’s even bossier than his uncle, and that’s saying something”, he muttered under his breath.
When the ghosts reached the rock ウォール they were thrown off for a few minutes, but quickly noticed the footprints of the party leading off in two different directions. So, they decided to スプリット, 分割 up, and each follow one of the groups.
Mickey quickly learned that his choice of paths was not the best. As they tried desperately to climb through the 塔の上のラプンツェル vines and over dead 木, ツリー branches, they soon began to hear a loud thrashing, then the howling; and before they knew it one of the ghosts had caught up with them.
“Stay behind me, Minnie!” Mickey 発言しました as he stared up at the ghost holding a large piece of wood, then whacked it on the foot, “You stay away from my girl!” he shouted angrily. “Donald! I need あなた to…” he began to call, then suddenly he realized that Donald was not there. “Hey where’s Donald?!” Mickey shouted.
“Say Duckworth’s gone too”, 発言しました Launchpad.
“Oh no! The ghosts got Donald an’ Duckworth!” Goofy yelled.
“That’s it!” Mickey yelled, “Minnie I need あなた to leave, go somewhere where it’s safe! The guys and I will stay here and hold off the ghost!” he 発言しました firmly.
“I’m not going anywhere!” Minnie replied.
“Launchpad.” Mickey called. “Take Minnie someplace safe!”
“You got it Mickey.” Launchpad replied, then picked Minnie up, and ran into forest.
“Launchpad McQuack! あなた put me down right now!” Minnie shouted as she was carried away.
After searching the woods for a 安全, 安全です hiding place for some time, Launchpad’s eyes fell on what appeared to be a small cave. He quickly took Minnie inside. Once he had gotten them pretty far inside he set her down. “There ya go, 安全, 安全です and sound!” he 発言しました proudly.
“Launchpad!” Minnie 発言しました angrily, “I came here because I wanted to help, not slow the men down! Now Mickey and Goofy are left fighting the ghosts alone! And it’s…” she stopped mid sentence because two familiar things leaning against the ウォール caught her eye. She forgot what she was saying, and quickly ran over to get a closer look at them. When she reached the ウォール she immediately saw that the objects were in fact, a cane and 上, ページのトップへ hat.
