The Great マウス Detective
I couldn't call myself a ディズニー ファン without watching this movie, since a lot of ディズニー ファン enjoyed it. I just finished watching it.
Enjoyable! Very, enjoyable!
Basil is now up there with my お気に入り characters, he is quite a facinating personality. I enjoyed the character designs, and the アニメーション was amazing.
The score is satisfactory, and the songs are nothing special, but they get the job done.
The story kept me interested and I laughed.
Growing up watching カートゥーン with voices によって greats like Mel ブラン and Rob Paulson, I always take notice of the voice acting. I thought all the characters had good voice overs behind him. I liked that Ratigan wasn't 与えられた a deep and sinister voice that would match his large frame, but rather a もっと見る normal pitch. It was もっと見る humorous and believable.
About Ratigan. I liked him as a villian and I think he's under appricited. He's probably one of the most evil in my opinion, a totall asshole if あなた ask me.
I was touched によって the マウス trap and Basil being beat up によって Ratigan scenes.
So summery is I liked it, and I don't know why it took me nearly 18 years to watch it.

* An innovative application of computer technology can be seen in the climactic scene where Basil faces Ratigan in a final confrontation inside the turning and thrashing gearworks of Big Ben. The 54 moving gears, winches, ratchets, beams, and pulleys were literally drawn によって the computer, and created a unique background for the characters, which had been animated in the usual way
*Was the 26 movie in the ディズニー canon, coming out right after The Black Cauldron. It was well recieved (ANYTHING would be well recieved after the Black Cauldron)
