Well, I found out something really interesting today. Hmm. Well, I totally fell in 愛 with this story, today. It has just as much beautiful imagery within it and I think it rivals Andersen's The Little Mermaid for being almost completely tragic... The turn-around moment feels balanced and good... not awkward and forced like HCA's epilogue about the mermaid becoming a angel-ghost for all time. Has anyone here ever heard of a classic actress named Dorothy Dandridge? I recently discovered her and OH MY GOSH I ADORE HER! She was the first major African American actress EVER and was the first African American actress to ever be in a major role and be nominated for Best Actress. There is something that I just found out.
