I guess. There's also a moral in Flynn's arc about caring less for material gain, but it's not as prominent.

Hope is a really important message in this movie. It's because of hope that Rapunzel decides to leave her tower, and it's in hope for her future, that Eugene sacrifices himself. Most importantly though, it's because of Rapunzel's parents' hope of seeing their daughter again that they are even reunited. Never give up hope and always believe in a brighter future (this encompasses the whole standing up for yourself thing.)

"Follow your heart" basically. Not much there. The overall message, though, was to not stop chasing your dreams.
