I used elimination by comments on my last countdown, and it was a disaster.

Why?

Well, it wasn't just because of the elimination by comments, but I know it would have been simpler if I hadn't used it. It was a smartest DP Countdown, but I said to vote for the least edicated, and some people voted for the most stupid, and others voted for the least educated. I honestly think the results turned out pretty well, but most people didn't agree.

Definitely. Only including votes...Well, people can rig them, and the comments clear up who voted for what and if there are good reasons for that option to leave.
I mean, if you eliminated Pocahontas simply because of the votes, it would be inaccurate. No one who commented even picked Pocahontas...That tells us something.
Sorry if I'm being annoying about this...Really.
In the end, I guess it's your choice.
Maybe you can eliminate by votes, and keep the comments in mind?

I'd rather you didn't eliminate the comments section. Polls on here get rigged way too easily.

I hate the polls that go by comments. You might as well just do those in the question/forum section, they aren't polls if you go by comments.

When you say "eliminate" Do you mean that you will eliminate using the option of using comments, or do you mean that you will eliminate the choices by comments, sorry I'm a bit confused here.
