Things are already different from the last time this countdown was done. Dispatching the 11th couple, Tiana and Naveen were the second eliminated instead of Ariel and Eric last time.

Hmm, Eric/Ariel were the only obvious choice for me, now it starts getting tough..

They met, he likes her for her looks, they had a half assed conversation and neither knew the other's identity, and wed the next day.

It doesn't really seem like they're a couple, they act like they're friends with each other.

Plus, Shang has an awful temper, and I can't see Mulan standing it.

Mulan is too much of a woman for a Chinese man to be comfortable with, plus Shang is a bit of a jerk. Mulan is a bit softer even though she was strong enough to save China.

I know usually we judge the Classic couples from some sort of fairy-tale perspective, but I don't do that. I think Cinderella would stay with Charming, even if their relationship went sour. That's the person she is. But we don't know much about Charming and neither does she, so it isn't unlikely that he'd dump her.

They have nothing in common at all.

Their relationship is based on lust, and as it appears, nothing else. Plus, Charming was too lazy to leave his castle to go looking for the girl himself, and Cinderella, being a hard-worker even at duties she doesn't want to perform, so I think she'd get very irritated with him in that sense.

If we're considering sequels, Mulan and Shang have proved to work well as a couple despite their differences and arguments. Plus, they'd probably spent the most time getting to know each other out of all the couples before they got together.
