Melodyyyyyy!!!! I love her.

I like melody. She is Ariel and Eric's daughter,- has her mother's personality and looks like her father. And how cool to have three generations of royalty from a Disney Princess? She is the only Disney Princess mom. But I have to say I LOVE Ariel more. Always have. I have been obsessed with " The Little Mermaid"/Ariel since I was 2, and the movie came out in 89 when I was 4 months old.

I've always felt guilty that I preferred the character from a sequel and not an original, but I've always found Melody to be a slightly more suppressed version of Ariel; not as selfish, but also quite spirited. And I'll admit Ariel's fans have made me dislike her a bit more because she is really overrated.

Ariel isn't selfish. Where do you people get this idea. She followed her heart. That isnt selfish. Its called not sitting around waiting for something to happen. Which is what everyone is praising merida for. So make up your minds. But Ariel is not selfish. Maybe stubborn or headstrong, but all teenagers are, especially when they yearn for something they want. After she fell in love she was very pro-active ( love is blind). But she also knew in her heart that she truly loved Eric. Ursula was Selfish.
