Cinderella and Aladdin has an equal amount of comments calling them out. I stand by what I said before, while I agree with everything that has been said about Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Well, I stick to the decision I made for my article...even though it's really a close call.

Wait, didn't Snow White lose? Or you were only counting comments.
Yeah, this is hard. Cinderella at least passes the Bechdel test, but Aladdin has a more substantially feminist lead heroine.

I decided to only count comments since in the first round so little people commented.

@PL Really, if not for the one line "leave the sewing to the women", I would choose Aladdin...but that one is really the tipping point.

I could go either way on this one.

@SwanPride- Yeah, I read your article and it really is hard to pick between Cinderella & Aladdin....
It's like, which is worse,the movie with stereotypical female representation or minimal-female representation.

As much as I LOVE this movie(it's my favorite) it's not very feminists friendly. There's only one female character her only means of contributing to the battle is her sexuality but she does want equal rights for women.

Aladdin shows your typical male-needs-to-do-all-the-saving archetype, and to make it even worse this movie was made in the 90s.

I think the ending message in Aladdin, where Jasmine is given the right to choose her own way, is more valuable that anything gender related in Cinderella.
