i like the blonde better, but it doesnt suit as well as red

She was originally supposed to be blonde and I can see why.

I think Ariel works well with such vivid hair because the people on land were mostly all brunette and she stood out even when she had legs. This hair colour would have the same effect.

I like it, but it seems a bit cliche. I mean, mermaids are usually pictured to have blond hair (H20, even the movie of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. ) But I think Disney thought red was suited for her because of another short film about the little mermaid, but maybe not.

I don't think blonde looks good on her. I love how she looks with dark black. Brown is kind of cute too!

She was actually intended to be blonde before the film makers changed it and I should say she looks pretty damn gorgeous as blonde. Brown is cute on her but this way she would look too much like Vanessa and there would be no contrast.

Or maybe black or normal blonde. Brown makes her looks to much like Vanessa in my opinion, and blonde would help her stand out jut like the red.
