Saki, now 6 years old, came running through the HQ after she got ホーム from school.

"Mommy! Daddy! I'm home!"

She kept running till she was out of breath and had to stop and catch her breath.

"Saki!" Matsuda ran up to her, "Come on, I have to get あなた out of here!"

"Why? Where's Mommy and Daddy?"

"Just come on!" Matsuda grabbed her hand and they ran out of the building.

Once they were outside, Saki saw that the building was on fire.

"Saki!" Watari ran up and pulled her into a hug.

"What's going on, Papaw?"

Watari looked at her with pity, "Sweetie....Kira got your mother and father..."

"W-wha...?" Saki's...

I wrote this originally for school but then turned it to Matt and Mello.

Mello had always been your friend.

The only one to see あなた cry, the first to make あなた laugh at Wammys, the only one to welcome あなた as a friend.

I first read link in 2009, and I’m rereading it again. The first time I read it I was like, “cool! Almost a perfect crime!” and came to the point of comparing it to Dostoyevsky’s works.

But yesterday, when I reread it, I realized, yes, it's good, but it's not the best detective story in the world. My reasons? Keep on 読書 , I'll let あなた know.


1. The victims have [overly] ridiculous names. Okay, we know Mr. Ishin (Another Note's author) is a japanese, and that japanese names have meanings, like Yagami as "night" and "god" that can be taken literally. But Backyard Bottomslash? Quarter...

Light Yagami, aka Kira, is supposedly this amazing evil genius. He defeated L, for crying out loud! So if L, the only person that could disputably take Batman's タイトル "world's greatest detective," ロスト to Light Yagami, a stupid little kid like Near certainly should have. It would have been so easy, and so much もっと見る like Light, if he had seen the simple answer in front of him and killed Near. First, he would give his underling his own false death note, instead of unknowingly allowing him to keep the one Near gave him. This false note would exist so that Light's name would be cleared without...
