Because Damon truly is sorry (and because we just can't resist him ;)) and Jeremy has already moved on, I would forgive him eventually.

No way in hell. If someone killed one of my siblings, I would NEVER forgive them. EVER. However, Jeremy came back to life, and it's a tv show....sooooo: I am a Damon and Elena fan and I think she needs to forgive him sometime soon. I kind of hate the writers for doing this though. haha :)

It would take a VERY long time BUT if the family member forgave them (since we know by rumors Jer is going to get closer to Damon) then I'd kinda look at it different. It would still take a long time for them to redeem themselves though.

Eventually...he's truly sorry and Jeremy is still alive and unharmed.. lets enjoy the process ..

I'm kinda sad why the writers make a story about Delena this complicated =(

even jeremys almost forgiven him and he truely is sorry and she forgave stefan for the whole 'Miss Mystic Falls' episode,i mean come on, she can forgive that she can forgive damon, as someone put on twitter, "she forgave stefan for the amber thing but she cant forgive damon because she's scared to fall in love"

It would take some time... but eventually. I would see that he was REALLY sorry and that even he has seen that he has made a HUGE mistake and would do anything to make it up to her... i mean me :) This is not just because i love Damon, which is a little part of it. If i loved some one so much, i dont think i would be able to hate them forever.

I'm sorry, if someone tried to kill my brother, with the intention of killing him, I don't think I could ever really get over that, especially if it was someone I thought I could trust. WIth Damon, if I knew him, like Elena did, and he explained the situation to me, what really happened and sincerely apologized, I think I might be able to forgive them, and of course, if my brother forgave them, I would put some thought into it as well. It would take a REALLY long time, and I would have to see that Damon was really sorry before I even considered forgiving him...

The thing to consider here is that Elena is dealing with vampires! She has made her choices! Noone forced her to be around them all the time! And of course, they snap and kill people impulsively! It's what vampires are supposed to do! But the fact that Damon apologized about it and was honest with her, shows the positive impact that she has on him!

I'm sure that he'll find a way to redeem himself!Plus Jeremy seems to be ok with it, we did saw a short of a bromance situation between the 2 of them right?

Regardless of whether Damon is the hottest man on earth, I couldn't get over that very quickly. People in life hate each other for much, much less. He'd have to redeem himself with more than a heartfelt apology on my porch. But I'm sure, somehow, he'll find a way.... :-D

If they died permanantly then NOT A CHANCE IN HELL. But if they came back to life then I might but it would take a VERY LONG TIME and the family member they killed would have to have forgiven them first.

In real life, probably not. There's no excuse for killing your love's brother because you're pissed off. But if I was in the Tvd universe, probably. I'd be dealing with supernatural creatures who have the instincts to kill. So yeah.
