こんにちは Guys :) While I was watching this episode, I noticed a few good things about the Delena relationship. There weren't a lot of good Delena scenes but there was good scenes that involve Damon and Jeremy.

In the beginning, Elena was mad at Jeremy for going along with Klaus's plan. I kind of expected it since this is Elena and she gets mad if her loved ones are in danger. Anyway, after Damon was compelled によって Kol to "kill" Jeremy, Elena wasn't too mad at him since he was forced to against his own free will. However, even though Damon couldn't resist the compulsion, he was trying very hard to not kill Jeremy which made him end up with a snapped neck and locked in a basement. Plus, not all ヴァンパイア can resist compulsion.

What I found most interesting about this episode was the bond between Damon and Jeremy. These two seem like very different people and don't seem like the type to form a friendship. However, despite this, these two can't kill each other (the neck snapping doesn't count) Even though Damon was compelled, deep down he wanted to keep Jer alive. After all, Damon need a new friend after Alaric right?

Also in a way, Jeremy's "friendship" with Damon is the key to his connection with Elena. I mean, if Damon didn't have feelings for Elena, Jeremy would have died permanently a LONG time ago. He is the only family Elena has left and if Damon does kill him, he will lose their 愛 and connection forever and Damon knows it.

Elena: I 愛あなた and あなた愛 me...You'd do anything for me.
This scene has a secret meaning. Stelena ファン probably think Elena is taking advantage of Damon's 愛 for her. I think that (like I 発言しました earlier), even though Damon told Elena sorry, he was trying very hard to resist it. i mean he tried to get Jeremy to kill him and saved Matt's life who he doesn't really care for. I think Matt does like Damon, just not when Jeremy is involved.

I also know that there might be ファン of Kol out there but the guy needs to be stopped. I find he is the current obstacle to the Delena relationship right now, not Stefan. Elena wants Jeremy to kill または dagger Kol for two reasons. She wants to help Jeremy finish the mark and free Damon from the jail cell. (Don't forget when an orginal dies, then compulsion wears off.) Another reason why is because によって the episode "into the wild", the gang is on the 検索 for the cure in Canada.

This may seem long, but my point is that Jeremy and Damon see each other as brothers in a way. Plus, this season Damon has been trying to keep Jeremy alive. Stefan just wants Jeremy to kill ヴァンパイア no matter what the consequences. This in a way shows who has the stronger connection at the moment and why it effects Elena's relationships with Stefan and Damon. When Jer became a hunter, he tore Stelena apart, but he will bring Delena together since Damon risked his own life to keep Jeremy alive. That right there is the meaning of friendship!

AnamHussain95 Awwww!!! So true. I love Deremy. If Elena is going to take anyone's judgment seriously, it will be Jeremy's. He is her sole family member n if he is on board with his sister's relationship with Damon, it'll make Elena really happy n she would feel more comfortable n free to gush about her n Damon's relationship! Anyway, great article. I love how you keep everything to the point.

loveDE45 i would agree with you if jeremy haven't said to elena "really after all of this you still trust him?", i mean damon treid the best he can under the compellation, i mean kol made him (damon) hurt/almost kill himself,he saved him again and again this episode even though he was compelled to kill him,he even saved matt by letting them return to the lack house YET after all of that bith matt & jeremy don't see the differnce and still treat/talk about him like shit,i we as hoping to see a change un the damon & jeremy & matt dynamick but NOTHING changed not one bit it's the same old story, damon bad,stefan "saint" i'm beyond sick of the FACADE it's the same SHIT no matter how much damon changes and becomes a BETTER MAN, and "saint" stefan true colors show that he's selfish dick people still and will always see damon is the bad guy and stefan as the "saint" that makes no mistacks what so ever

HaleyDewit I agree with most of it, except the Kol part. I don't like Kol. He's beaten up Damon one too many times. But I think he's right not to want to wake Silas. I think they'll wake him and I think they'll regret it. So, in a way, I believe Kol is right. But I don't agree with his methods. He really is Klaus' brother.

TVlover10 I absolutely loved reading this :) And it's all so true what you said. I especially loved the end paragraph where you said Jeremy tore Stelena apart but will bring Delena together. That is spot on. Jeremy seeks approval from Damon. He's never cared about Stefan's opinion. Because he knows Stefan is an idiot and wouldn't do every thing in his power to protect his sister like Damon would. Jeremy knows Damon loves Elena more. And he is grateful to him deep down for having kept his sister alive and safe all this time. They have definitely formed an unlikely bond (Damon&Jeremy). It's exactly like Damon and Elena from the start. They both never in a million years believed they would fall so in love with each other and care so much about one another but they did. And it's the same with Damon and Jeremy. They too never thought they'd see the day where they'd be fighting to keep each other alive. Damon was compelled to kill Jeremy and still he couldn't do it. And Jeremy is now a hunter with strong urges to kill any vampire he crosses paths with and he too couldn't bring himself to kill Damon. So again it shows that Damon is the one who connects with the Gilbert's more than any one else. They trust him and look up to him and love and care for him :) Don't worry about what the delusional Stelena fans say. They are all wearing ear plugs and closing their eyes when Vampire Diaries is on. I truly believe Damon did resist compulsion the best way he could of. He resisted it because every time he came close to Jeremy he would hold himself back long enough for Jeremy to aim a shot and kill him. That's what Damon wanted, he wanted to die to protect Jeremy and spare Elena emotional pain of losing her brother. That's how much he loves her. There is no bigger grand gesture of showing someone how much you love them than dying for them. Resisting compulsion completely cannot be achieved over night, it takes years of practice. But for Damon to have held himself off for that long and to have been ready to die through it proves how strong and selfless he is. And also he figured out that he was compelled even though Kol made it clear while compelling him that he wouldn't be able to remember or know anything about it. When Stefan tried to resist compulsion he held himself back for a while too but he couldn't completely resist it. And the minute Klaus compelled him to turn it off Stefan not only lost his humanity but he bit Elena and started treating her like Klaus's human blood bag. Stefan's actions under compulsion were a disaster. Damon held himself extremely well under compulsion. He guided Jeremy through it all and warned him as he was coming after him. If Stefan was compelled to kill Jeremy he would of done it instantly. And if Damon was compelled to kill Elena he would of ripped his heart out instantly. That's the big different :) But sorry to have gone off topic. Your article was amazing. I look forward to reading more things you write.
