The doorknob rattled again. I wanted to scream, I wanted to yell, I wanted to run. There was nothing I could do at this point. Alec was sitting 次 to me, tears streaming down his face. I wanted to shush him, to hug him, but I couldn’t do anything right now that wouldn’t make us visible. The door was to my left, Alec was on my right. The doorknob rattled again, this time it clicked. Alec’s breathe was coming faster, he was hunched over, his hands on his ears. I touched his leg quietly, then pointed at the other door across the room. He nodded, his brown hair falling out of place. The door opened. I got Alecs arm and ran towards the other door. He screamed the whole way. We had almost reached the door when a man appeared in front of us. His white hair was striking, his skin was pale white. He reached towards us. I tried running around him, but he was in front of us again. Alec was shaking 次 to me, crying out.
“Don’t be afraid, sweet child’s.” The man said, I didn’t want to believe him. I didn’t have to. I brought both my hands up to my shoulders, he was staring at me, wide eyes. Yes. His feet went under him, he was on the ground mumbling with pain.
“Stop it Jane! Stop hurting the man!” Alec said, his tears reaching the edge of his chin. I looked at him, mouth open.
“Alec, this man wanted to hurt us.” I pointed at the man on the floor, dieing with the pain.
“No!” Alec shouted. He tried helping the man up.
“Alec!” I screamed. “Leave him!!” Alec looked up. What was wrong with him these days? Helping everyone? His eyes were all red.
“Please, Jane! Stop hurting the man.” I shook my head and continued to do what I was doing, giving this man pain. Then Alec got up, he looked down at the man, and pointed at him.
“Alec? What are あなた doing?” I asked worryingly. Alec just looked at me and shrugged. The man shrieked in もっと見る pain than he already was.
“S-T-O-P!” He gasped in between each breathe he took. Alex brought his hand down. I followed. The man rolled over, and quickly got up.
“You stupid kids. あなた don’t know what kind of powers あなた both possess. I must have you.” I looked across at Alec, his eyes had suddenly gotten wide. The man had both hands on Alecs shoulders. He couldn’t run. But I could. I looked once at Alec, and shook my head, he nodded. The man looked at me, then at Alec.
