Later that evening while Anakin tried to sleep, Ahsoka's Force spirit paid him another visit.
Master, a soft voice sounded in the dark and a bluish glow appearing near the doorway.
"Ahsoka?" Anakin muttered in a sleepy way and rubbed his eyes.
It's me again, Master. I've come to say goodbye and to wish あなた luck on training your new Padawan.
"How would あなた know that?"
あなた can sense things through the Force even in death.
"Ahsoka....I miss you. Please don't go. I'm...."
Master, the spirit 発言しました as she walked over and layed a hand on his shoulder. It felt.....soothing to Anakin. I know あなた are scared. It's understandable. あなた will be with someone new to you. I was new to あなた once.
Anakin smiled remembering the 日 they met.
"You were a pain in the butt," he 発言しました as he laughed.
I know あなた will be a great mentor to your new student. あなた were for me. Now..I have to go. Remember I'll always be in your ハート, 心 and your memories. Goodbye....
Anakin watched the image fade and he bowed his head. He never heard Obi-Wan knocking at his door. He started when he felt Obi-Wan touch his arm.
"I'm sorry, Anakin, I didn't mean to startle you. あなた seem miles away."
Anakin looked at him with sad eyes.
"Ahsoka's Force spirit just paid me a visit," he 発言しました in a voice almost too soft to hear.
"Obi-Wan's eyes widened at that revelation. He was surprised that the Padawan had achieved that ability. Alot of Jedi Knights hadn't. However, Ahsoka's Force abilities had been strong in life, so in death they might have grown.
"This wasn't the first time, either", Anakin 発言しました as he bowed his head, "She appeared...after she died and....before her memorial."
He blinked his eyes that had filled with tears.
Obi-Wan didn't say a thing and got up to sit on the arm of the chair Anakin was in. He layed a hand on the young Jedi's shoulder.
"You really miss her, don't you?"
Anakin just nodded trying to keep the tears from falling but failed.
"Anakin, it will take time to get over the grief. I should know, it took me a long time to get over Qui-Gon's death. Even though time has passed I still miss him. Let the grief strengthen you. Ahsoka will always be with you."
"I know," Anakin 発言しました as he looked up, his cheeks shiny with tears, "...but it still hurts. I never realized how much I loved her not only as my Padawan learner but as my friend too. I know I'll see her again someday but that doesn't make me feel any better right now."
Obi-Wan put an arm around his shoulder saying, "I know."
Anakin leaned over and placed his head against Obi-Wan's chest. He closed his eyes feeling 安全, 安全です with his friend's arm around him. He began to doze off.
He stayed with Anakin all night, the young Jedi sleeping peacefully until Master Sinube woke both of them up.
"Good morning, young one," the old Master 発言しました surprised to see Obi-Wan sitting in a chair with Anakin's head in his lap. "Is the boy alright?"
"Yes, he's just tired," Obi-Wan answered, "Ahsoka's Force spirit appeared to him last night upsetting him some."
"Anakin's new Padawan is here and Masters Windu and Yoda would like him to come to the Council chamber.
"I'll wake him up..."
"Anakin, あなた seen nervous," Obi-Wan 発言しました an 時 later as they walked to the Council chamber.
"No, I'm not," Anakin 発言しました his voice quivering ever so slightly.
"I can feel your unease a mile away," Obi-Wan answered, "I'm surprised General Grievous can't sense it."
"Very funny..."
Obi-Wan layed a hand on Anakin's shoulder. Anakin gave his former Master that cocky smile that warmed Obi-Wan's heart.
"Mustn't keep Masters Windu and Yoda waiting...."
