Avengers: Age of Ultron Thor and Nick Fury movie costumes on display...

Avengers: Age of Ultron, Earth\'s Mightiest Heroes assemble once again, along with a few new faces, to fight an evil artificial intelligence hell bent on eradicating humankind. To help promote the release of the Avengers sequel, the ArcLight Pasadena cinema had these original \'Thor\' and \'Nick Fury\' film costumes, plus Captain America\'s broken shield prop on display on April 10, 2015.

I believe this shattered Captain America shield prop was also on display last

San Diego Comic-Con, but the interesting thing is that the super-soldier\'s shield is made of Vibranium and almost indestructible. Hopefully this will mean that we\'ll get to see the African nation of Wakanda and maybe a glimpse of the \'Black Panther\' in this movie, as that is the main source of Vibranium in the Marvel Comics universe at least.

Alexandra Byrne is the Oscar-winning Costume Designer on Avengers: Age of Ultron and she was also designer on the first Thor and Avengers movies, plus you can see her costumes in Guardians of the Galaxy (plus she is working on the forthcoming Marvel movie adaptation of Dr. Strange).

Nick Fury\'s all-black costume isn\'t that interesting compared to the colourful outfits worn by the superheroes in the movie, but it\'s still cool to see in person and an easy look to replicate and very Shaft-esque. Plus it\'s nice to see Samuel L. Jackson rocking the eye-patch again after the events of Captain America: The Winter Solider and the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. when HYDRA reared its many ugly heads.
