Colin Morgan will always be my favourite Merlin.
That said, when I first saw Camelot, after being far to addicted to BBC's Merlin, I was surpriced that he was so dark and secretive, and that he didn't use his magic.
*Spoilers*
Last episode was amazing, the best so far (1x04), because we got to see why Merlin doesn't use his magic. It brings out this whole other and darker side, where he makes the worst decisions. It was heartbreaking when the girl Excalibur (that was her name, right?) was stuck under the ice, and he couldn't save her, because his magic was too strong.
I am looking forward to the development in this Merlin!
