It was shocking mainly because it was a free-for-all on killing people. Also, we kept finding out things that basically threw the entire plot of the show on it's head...like that Buffy wasn't as unique or special as we thought she was. And the series finale was the most shocking episode ever because of all those who died!

i think this was soooo the most shocking, that angel lost his soul wen him and buffy had sex, then he went on to try n kill them all, that there was another slayer the introduction on spike and dru and then buffy kills angel and runs away how cud this not be the most shocking season!

Totally Season 7! Shocking deaths :( and all the twists and turns! MEMORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

cuz it was OVER! *tears* i mean, they all had their shocking value cuz thats why i like buffy. but to find out that it was the last season was disparing.

It was a totally different Buffy then we had known from previous seasons she just wasn't the same since she came back from death but I'm not complaining I still loved season 6 it was just very different.

W/ stupid faith being supreme bega-bitch on the best friend she'd ever had, w/ angel almost dying after breaking up with her, and then the big fight, ending with him leaving.....there was a lot of jaw-dropping!
