Where do you get that idea? Dr. Horrible was freakin' awesome! It again cemented that Joss is a genius in my book. And it's too soon to tell with Dollhouse.

no real way to know till tomorrow, when dollhouse premieres, cause i haven't seen dr. horrible. but i'm sure that dollhouse will be amazing (CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!).

Oh and I thought of something else. It would take a lot more than just one "flop" to make me think he'd lost his touch completely. Even if Dollhouse isn't up to standards, there's no telling what he'll do next. I never liked Angel, but I certainly didn't hold it against him.

The problem isn't that he is worse as a writer, but that he pushes boundries and so some of his shows, while amazing lovable and clever, simply don't have wide appeal.
Like 'Firefly'. That didn't get a huge audience and was cancelled but it was amazing (if it had continued longer I'm sure I would be more obsessed with it than Buffy)

The sad fact is a writer who refuses to be 'safe' won't always have success even if the work he does is fantastic

I agree with Mermaid-Tail. Besides, I don't think he has actually written a single thing I didn't like since starting Buffy. I didn't like the original Buffy movie and I've never seen his Rosanne episodes, so if anything in my eyes he's getting better :)

I'm not sure how to describe it really, I'm going to say it's a musical about an evil scientist and his nemisis, Captain Hammer. Doctor Horrible is in love with Penny, Penny is going out with Captain Hammer and Doctor Horrible needs to commit some horrible acts to get into the Evil League of Evil.

It's brilliant in only the way Joss can do it.
