people keep asking what's so great about Spike and Buffy so I'm going to ask what's so great about Buffy and Angel?

I happen to like both. Her relationship with エンジェル was もっと見る down to Earth and tame: based もっと見る on trust, commitment, and 愛 rather than the violence, angst, and distrust that was the basis for Buffy and Spike's relationship.

あなた made me stop and re-think Buffy and Angel's relationship for a 秒 which has NEVER happened before. I've always liked Buffy and Spike together but always liked her with エンジェル better... until now possibly.

*shrugs* Hey, I'm a Spuffy fan. But from what Bangel ファン tell me, I think it's because it's first love, they believe it's true 愛 and should last forever.

I think that Buffy and エンジェル had the ultimate true forbidden love, but Spike just used her. She did end up loving him in the end, but he did try and rape her. She just let him do what he did to her because she wanted to feel something. エンジェル left because he didn't want to loose his soul and kill her friends. I think both relationships were complicated.

In the episode Angel, he still was a very sensible being and he actually never 発言しました he would kill her to save himself. He was under Darla's powerful influence, a highly skilled manipulating vampire who knew him very well. Plus, when Buffy offered her neck and dropped the weapon, all he did was smile at her and look at her in a very sweet way. That says it all.
In the episode Graduation 日 Buffy forced him to drink her blood and he could not have helped it. He was in vamp-form, poisoned (he therefore couldn't think straight) and with his mouth open on her neck, no vampire would have had the strength to refuse, not even your beloved Spike. I actually am very happy about the bite because it created an even stronger bond between them, plus the scene was quite hot!
エンジェル left Buffy because he wanted her to be happy and thought that staying away from her she would have managed to forget him. We all know she hasn't forgotten him at all (Season 7 - I loved him もっと見る than I will ever 愛 anything in this life). Anyway, he would come and help whenever she needed him to. I admit I am a helpless romantic, but I believe that all the pain they have been through, the distance, didn't change their 愛 for each other. When エンジェル died, she left everybody she loved because her pain was unbearable, whereas when Spike did she was smiling thinking about the future ahead.
I also believe that Spike stayed not for Buffy's sake, but for his own good. He, unlike Angel, is slave of lust and he doesn't have the same mental power to leave someone あなた can't seem to get enough of. Moreover, Spike only enhanced Buffy's pain in Season 6 and tried to rape her, and these are the main reasons why I can't find the whole Spuffy thing reasonable.
In addition, I believe that the whole Spuffy thing would have never happened if it weren't for the chip he had in his brain.

I am not trying to spread hate nor am I a hater. I just wanted to point out some things I believe were not taken into account.
