It was called The ロンドン Filming Locations of Bridget Jones’s Baby | Architectural Digest
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
The English capital takes a starring role in the new film
Twenty years after Helen Fielding’s delightfully imperfect heroine first hit the bestseller list, singleton Bridget Jones is back. Now a top news producer in her 40s, Bridget is once again uncoupled and determined to focus on her job and friends. But Bridget being Bridget (and given that the title is
), things obviously go awry. While the second film in the series took the character to Thailand, the latest release returns to where it all began: London.
Bridget now owns her flat in the city’s Borough neighborhood, and production designer John Paul Kelly and set decorator Sara Wan worked to update the set, adding an open-plan kitchen and a lighter color palette. The neighborhood and its famous market are also prominently featured. The crew transformed Borough Market into a winter wonderland in the middle of summer and showcased the existing stalls and shopkeepers.
The film features the London Aquatics Centre, which was designed by architect Zaha Hadid for the 2012 Olympics.
Shooting in London also allowed the crew to feature the city’s historic and contemporary architecture, including the Supreme Court and Zaha Hadid’s London Aquatic Centre, neither of which had ever been used as a filming location. The Shard is visible from Bridget’s neighborhood, showing how much the city has changed since the first film.
The Supreme Court was used to show the conservative world of Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), who is now a Supreme Court QC.
The production used a wide variety of locations throughout the city, including Gatwick Airport, the Old Bailey, and the Southwark and Albert Bridges. Part of Windsor Great Park, a historic property outside London, was transformed into a music festival designed to give the feel of spectacularly muddy Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, and Bestival on the Isle of Wight.
Bridget meets Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey), the third point in her love triangle, at a music festival.
