Well, I do think Twilight is inappropriate and offensive, but not because of sexual reasons. They don't even show the scene, they just say something along the lines of "they slipped into the water" or something like that. Then the next morning she says how the night was amazing, and that's it.

Yes, Twilight is inappropriate and offensive, but not for those reasons.

TTYL, well, I've read it. It may not be completely clean, but it's not that inappropriate. Yeah, she takes her shirt off and gets drunk. Well guess what? Last year, age 14, I read a book that included a rape scene! (Clan of the Cavebear, just for the info). How do they mark it as "inappropriate"? How about Go Ask Alice? That book has rape, drugs, sex, drunkenness, and more. Why isn't that mentioned?

I think that someone has way too much time on their hands if all they have to do is sit down a write a list of books that they do not think are "appropriate" for teenagers. And really why would Twilight be on that list? Its about vampires. Ok so the last book talks about sex but it never says anything that is inappropriate for someone over 13. And as for books like To Kill a Mocking bird why would that be banned? Personally, I didn't like the book but it has nothing to do with racism, its just not my kind of book. If your not mature enough to read something like that then don't read it. Its very simple.
