Goes By: Mayves or just Prince Lionheart
Age: Around the age of 17, though Shifters tend to age differently than humans.

In appearance, Mayves looks mostly like a normal human. The only things that may throw the unsuspecting spectator off-guard is his obvious lion's tail and paws for feet. He was born with wings as well, due to being griffon, but he lost them when he was young. He has dark, almost-black brown hair that goes down to his shoulders, and dark brown eyes. His skin is quite tan compared to most griffons. (skin color: link ) If you looked, you would be able to see very few dark freckles. He has noticeable fangs, and feathers grow behind his ears. He plucks them though. He cannot 'shift' into a griffon, so instead he has a amalgamation of both griffon and human features. His hands could be compared to an eagle's talons, and his nails are quite sharp. He seems to have a liking for meat more than veggies.
In personality, he's actually quite nice. At least he is once you get to know him. When first meeting him, he can seem very rude and cold, but that's because he's got a bit of an abandonment issue. When his dad realized that he was half-shifter, he abandoned Mayves and his mother. Of course, this happened when Mayves was very young, but he knows the story from his mother. Mayves can be considered a 'mother-hen' to his friends, and people he's very close to, he's quite protective. He's skilled with both a sword and a bow, so he knows how to fight. He's also aware that he's a prince, and the eldest son to the king. Which means that technically, he /should/ be the rightful heir to the throne. Now, the role of heir has been given over to the second oldest child of the king. He's not very happy about it.
