sure ishida says hirenkyaku is faster but i dont believe it plus he likes to boost a lot about the quincy and i think sonido is the slowest really

Sonido means "sound" in spanish,meaning that the arrancar as well as hollow can travel at the speed of sound.The latest arc of hueco mundo is ofcourse based entirely off of the spanish origin.the name "hueco mundo" means "hollow world" in english.Chad is mexican and so that is why he is the main character in that paticular arc.the background music is spanish as well.Ichigo can use both Flash-Step and Sonido because he has hollow powers and is a shinigami as well.When ichigo fights in his shikai form,he uses his flash-step,but when he uses his hollow mask,he uses sonido because hollows do not use flash-step for that matter,they use sonido.the highest level of flash-step has to be between yoruichi,ichigo and byakuya,for they have the best speed.but when it comes to which is the fastest i should say the order goes like this,1st-Sonido,2nd-Flash-step,3rd-quincy'­s form of speed.Also,why would ichigo be using sonido instead of flash-step when using his hollow mask? it is because he can travel faster with sonido than if he were to be using flash-step.SONIDO!!!

a few things i disagree with with

1. Soifon is faster thank ichigo and byakuya
2.why does he use sonido well because when he has his hollow mask on he becomes a vizard as such when in vizard form shinigami powers become restrict to only the use of your bankai and shikai because you have never once seen a person in vizard form use either kido nor flash step.
3. i have not yet seen a sonido that could out do a flash step for example Soifon VS ggio vega or stark vs Shunsui Kyōraku
4. also i like the arrancars and arent anti against them or anything but they got there butts kicked now i know not only does speed play a major role in battles but many of times it does because if your not fast enough to dodge attacks then your screwed so since the arrancars have lost nearly every battle that furthers my point that FLASH STEP!!!! is better thank sonido

Her is where I disagree

1. Sonido does not mean they move at the speed of sound, it implies the static sound made when they use it. If it did then Flash Step would mean shinigami move at the speed of light and Light>Sound

2.Chad is not the main character in the Heuco Mundo Arc,he is A character but not the MAIN character.

3. The only Vizard actually shown using Sonido is Ichigo and he only uses Sonido once, when he tranforms into the hollow hybrid while fighting Ulquiorra in chapter 351. Check SHinji's fight against Grimmjow with his mask on he uses flash step.

5.Bad examples Rusty, Soifon vs Ggio Vega (thats a Captain vs a Fraccion) and Stark and Shunsesi are evenly matched it was Shunsui's Bankai that gave him the upperhand.

6.All of the techniques are equal what matters is the skill of the user, If Soifon is so fast how can Barragan sneak up on her and touch her arm to decay it. Byakuya defeats the so-called fastest Espada, Ishida defeating Mayuri, Kenpachi dosent even use flash steps but can fight those that do, NO ONE TECHNIQUE IS BETTER THAN THE REST!

yea i know lol XD i thought back afterwards but i couldnt think of a actual time when a arrancar fought a flash step user and they were about at the same level. Also this question depends here i am just asking if this was a perfect world which would be faster because as i watching bleach ishida said that the quincy's was faster than flash step so who knows it might be? because why would tite kubo put that in there.

seriously though think of a time when someone around the same level has fought using flash step vs sonido only thing i could think of was barragan and soifon's fight because they are both masters at there methods. I probable shoulda looked it up on wiki huh? i dont know i am a little tired and was thinking to straight when i wrote my first post sorry your right.

^Ishida says its faster becuz he loathes Shinigami and he has his Quincy pride, he never would agree that a shingami technique is better than a Quincy one. Actually Ishida shows the most impresive speed of all charaters when he is in the Quincy Final Form.

It always seems like the Arrancar are moving sooo fast.... but then so do Shinigami and Uryu. XD

Shunpo is the fastest thing out there man....

If the hollows and arrancars travel at the speed of sound, then the Shinigami travel at the speed of light. The supposedly fastest arrancar wasn't able to see Byakuya's Shunpo. Uryu can't keep up with a lot of the SRs and arrancars.

Sonido. I think you'll find that Toshiro was slower than Halibel, Shunsui was equal with Starrk (only because Shunsui is older than most of the other Captains and has progressed exceptionally well with his shunpo, something Yama-ji points out when he faces Shunsui and Jushiro) and Ichigo, even Hollowfied in Bankai was much, much slower than Ulquiorra. The fact is, Sonido is naturally faster than shunpo... If you noticed, but the Shinigami, in almost every case, were slower, naturally, than any of the Espada.

Either this or Sonido. Doesn't really matter to me...

Lol OK first things first the fastest is by far the hirenkyaku but why well let's start with ichigo he is highly skilled in at least 2 of the 3 his weakest is the quincy version his best is flash step and those who say he doesn't count because of his bankai forget the facts his bankai speeds him up yes but how by allowing the use of flash steps in immediate succession without tiring the user and you can't say so if on is faster than ichigo because of this even she can't keep it up for long next so I do it is about equal to flash step I agree but quincies are a speed based and yet ishida is about as fast as a vice captain but also he is a horrible example because he is weak for a quincy his grandfather was able to kill a large number of hollows even though his stage in life was around his 90s next ishida lost his powers and completely believed them gone forever yet his father knew how to restore them and ishida didn't know his father had trained as a quincy finally how much does he actually know about his RAC next to nothing later in the manga we learn more and ishida doesn't cut it while ichigo is by far the fastest he is also a hybrid of all three so he also should be excluded finally kenpachi that name is given to the strongest he obtained the title as a child and at full power falls short in several stats including speed truthfully the quincies are the fastest we just never get to see it in full speed

They are all trained abilities it depends on the user. For example sonido which means sound does not defer to it being the speed of sound since you have espada like Ulqiorra who can move faster than ichigo but arrancar like Pesche and Dondochakka who are slower than Chad without his fullbringer powers active, not to mention they are all the same just different names because they were discovered through different training methods, like Karate and kung fu being both martial arts. Because of this, Chad decidedly called his movement sonido as well because the skull on his left arm resembled Ichigo's hollow mask making him believe that his fullbringer capabilities cam from Ichigo's hollowfied spiritual pressure unlike his sister and orihime gaining their fullbringer powers from his normal suppressed power.

Anyway they are all achieved through intensified training in the basic areas that allow for martial arts. These are strength, agility, speed, and mastery through concentration. If Yhwach was around I'm sure his hirenkyaku would beat Ichigo's shunpo in a race, but do to longer lives which can allow for more battle experience and longer training terms, soifon and yoroichi would be able to run laps around Yhwach's hirenkyaku.

Fact of the matter is as long as one out trains the other they can become stronger and this was most likely done to give more meaning to Ichigo's short commings in battles when it comes to hot-headedness and also that inturn carrying influence over into the personalities of his friends. If they were all masters in their basic skills I'm sure the espada would not have been a problem. This is because Hirenkyaku, Shunpo, and Sonido are all overly endowed martial arts skills that take the show like most anime shows just past the brink of real-life physical capabilities. Ichigo and Uryu could go toe to toe, but you must also factor in fighting skills.

Uryu's hirenkyaku focus is speed because he is not a melee artist he were to train more often he would be the fastest possibly right there with soifon and yoroichi. If Ichigo trained his Shunpo more he'd be at the same strength as the captains who had to save them because of his hot-headed arrogance. If Chad did not just observe Uryu's speed and try to match, but instead asked for training and asked to train with yoroichi with shunpo martial arts, those fists would be much more capable then they were.

My point is these techniques are not magic, rather they are trained physical capabilities that have can be enhanced with a boost in training or the person's physical power. Therefore if you had masters of each with the same level of training, resilience, power, and combat experience the techniques themselves would not be able to be told apart other than the fact that one is a quincy, one is a shinigami, and the final one is an arrancar. This is why Uryu always has to explain that he is not a human using shunpo but rather he is using hirenkyaku. In actuality the difference lies only in the name.
