Rangiku: Yeah. We, however, are going to train there. You see, time passes differently in the Precipice World. We will be able to do a years training in the Dangai, while only a day will have passed here.

Renji: It's pretty simple. All we have to do is beat your Shikai outta you. And that's exactly what we'll do.

Raijin: Right. So, then what are we waiting for?

Renji: Hey, he has a good attitude towards fighting.

Rangiku: Impatient, more like. I wonder who that reminds me of, in fact, I wonder which squad that reminds me of.

Renji: Shut up. Let's go and see the Captain-Commander then.

Rangiku: Right.

They head off to see the Captain-Commander.

Aion: Well are we all ready?

May: Yuppers boss

Val: Yeah its disappointing that Kenshi cant join. Its to close to night time.

Mira: Don't underestimate them for any reason that goes especially for you Val.

Val: whatever.

Mil: Do you all know your points of entry and your targets?

Ciel: Of course just dont screw this up.

Aion: then lets go!

Mil: A scattered wind breaking over the horizons settling on the wings of a butterfly. Be swift and true Bakudou number 199 Spacial Churn!

Kanna: Hopefully this fight will prove useful. *sees Kenshi and Grins* Oh Kenshi why arent you with the rest of the group.

Kenshi: he looks to her with a blank expression; sensei Val said i shouldn't participate in this mission...

Kanna: Why not? Don't you remember what master Aion said?;she puts her fingers up as to quote something; "He sees you as an equal"

-Inside the Precipice World-

Outside of the entrance to the Dangai, a series of Squad Six Shinigami wait, while the two Captains and the rogue Shinigami, Raijin Masamune, watch as the Restrictive Current is blocked for their entry. Vice-Captain Omaeda and Vice-Captain Buigetsu stand ready to guard the entrance.

Renji: Are you done yet? We don't have much time.

Un-named Squad Six member: Yes, Captain, we have completed your orders.

Rangiku: It's time. Let's go.

Rangiku, Renji and Raijin enter the Dangai. Raijin looks around, having never seen the Dangai before, and is stunned by the dark feel of the place.

Raijin: This place makes my soul feel strange, like it is emitting a dark reiatsu just waiting to tear out my soul.

Rangiku: Don't worry. I will train you, while Renji uses his reiatsu to keep the Restrictive Current from destroying us.

Raijin: Okay.

Over the next year, Rangiku and Renji train the young Shinigami, each taking turns to hold back the Restrictive Current with their reiatsu. By the time they have finished, they are all exhausted.

Raijin: I spoke to Zanpakuto once more, and his name is Ajisukita ('Manifestation of the thunder god's power'). I know my Shikai, and I'mn ready to face Aizen and his Arrancars. Thanks, both of you for helping me train.

Rangiku: *Addressing the Squad Four 8th Seat* This is why I had Isane send you down at the end of the day, so you can restore our reiatsu. I'll have to thank her later.

After an hour, all three have their reiatsu restored and are ready to leave the Dangai.

Renji: I wonder if anything happened while we were away.

Rangiku: Don't think about it. Whatever happens, happens.

~Seireitei~

A number of explosions go off in the distance as Mil's Knights ambush the Seireitei.

Val:Can we fight already?

Mil:No this plan is gonna go through.


May: But master Aion left already.

Kanna rips a hole in time and space and pushes Kenshi through.

Aion walks down a road as the Knights wreak their havoc.

Aion: Is their anyone worth fighting here?

Then a structure of ice lands right in front of him.

-Aizen, the Evil of the Former Shinigami-

Aizen: My Espada, welcome. I have spent such a long time preparing you for this battle and I must say, I am interested to see how you all do, fighting against the Shinigami.

Grimmjow: Yeah. Its too bad Ichigo is long dead and gone, I wouldn't have minded fighting him again.

Aizen: Ichigo would be the least of our worries. There is a threat that will destroy Soul Society and ruin our plans to use the Ouken. I have learned about them and I have designed five mod Espada to destroy each one.

the tear in space Kanna opens and Kenshi falls out right into the path of the beam

Kenshi:aahhhh!!!;he gets hit and falls to the ground.

Toshiro:What the hell?;he looks at Kenshi on the ground then turns his attention back towards Aion.

Toshiro, Kenshi is unconscious from the hit.

Guys, momentary pause

Okay, Whiteflame said we shouyld have turns so we don't get confused and we should also treat this as though we are fighting each other. WE have to remember every cut we take and injury, so we don't be invulnerable

That's open to debate, though if we do institute an order to this, posts will likely have to be a bit longer. One of the ways we have done it in Fallout is by having each person contribute to the story by providing some reasonable chunk of a given fight, and it allows multiple people to work on multiple different fights, though it slows down the system quite a bit. The main point is to create a more standardized system with a bit more structure. The system you have is quicker, but it's pretty choppy to read through. Not saying anyone should write a book, but the story will move more smoothly if each person contributes larger portions at a time.

And then vice-versa

~Episode 0 The Titania Born~

~2000 thousand years previous in the forest surrounding The Kingdom of light~

Aion is walking through a forest said to be infested with hollows, by a traveling merchant. But so far he hasnt seen any at all.

Aion: Was this a joke? Urghh what the hell! This was a waste of my time!

???: So the young king has a temper does he?

Aion:(looks around) Who's there? Show yourself you coward!

A blond woman with a spear appears from behind a tree holding a golden spear.

???: My name is Mira and I have come for your head.

The woman charges at a young Aion spear pointing towards his skull.
Aion raises his hand, and six spears of light converge on Mira's mid-section.

Mira:(thinking to herself)~Damn it! I knew he was a kido master but bakudo shouldnt hurt this much.

Aion: Did you really think i would let you even get within a foot of me peasant?

(closes his outstretched hand) and Miras body is set aflame.

Aion: I can't believe you would even try.(walks away)

When Aion turns around an unscathed Mira kicks him in the chest sending him into a tree 10 yards away. Mira then holds out her hand and starts bombarding Aion with light waves. After her twentieth shot she halts and waits for the dust to clear. Aion flies out and extends his hand ripping straight through her body.

Mira: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Aion pulls his hand out letting assassin fall to the ground. (He outstretches his hand.)

Aion: I commend you for even sneaking up on me. But it was foolish for you to even think for a second that you could kill me with those feeble powers of yours. (the outstretched palm begins to glow.) Goodbye.

Aion lets loose a light wave that at this range would certainly kill the woman. A figure appears in a flash of light pushing Aions hand away from the girl and having the blast fly off to his right.

Aion: Shell....

The figure picks up the girl and dissapears in another flash of light leaving Aion alone in the forest.

Alright, so I'm still working on the post I'll be using to explain the character himself, but when I do post for him, I'll include a brief description of how his character looks (how he acts and thinks should be obvious by the end of the post). In the meantime, he's the up-to-date version of his zanpakuto. It's a long one, but it required a lot of detail.

Zanpaktou Name: Iki Teiru Fōji (Living Forge)

Sealed Appearance: The weapon begins as a thick shortsword made with layers of 4 different metals. It’s sheathed in iron, with a layers of steel, pewter, gold and silver underneath that. It is 2 feet long from the base of the hilt to the tip of the blade, 4 inches wide along the blade, double edged and a full inch thick.

Type: Metal/Fire

Release Command: Kinzoku wo Katadukuru… (Shape the metal…)


1) Tessei Youki (Iron Vessel): Blue lines that only the wielder can see extend from his chest to every source of metal in the area, up to a range of 100 meters. These lines are always straight and connect directly with the source of metal to which they point. The lines are thicker and stronger the closer the source of metal. The wielder then has free reign to push or pull on those sources of metal, each of which get shot to or away from the point on his chest. In both cases, the restriction on pushing and pulling is based on the wielder’s weight. For example, if the wielder pushes against something that has more weight than themselves, they will instead push themselves backward because it is easier for the force to distribute itself to them than the metal source. That kind of weight can be applied by force alone, meaning that the wielder could push on the zanpakuto of his opponent, and if they brace themselves against it, that push could force the wielder in the opposite direction. This also applies to metal objects that hit walls or the ground, since the force required pushing them at that point increases well beyond the body’s weight. Since this basically applies the weight of the wielder against the weight of the object, the heavier the object, the slower the movement. Very small objects can be fired like a bullet (he often utilizes coins in this manner), but very heavy ones need to be dragged using this. He can do this to multiple items in quick succession, often targeting and manipulating many pieces of metal so fast that it seems to be at once.
This ability is limited by the amount of metal that covers the wielder’s blood vessels. As long as it’s active, those metals will burn up. That occurs slowly if this is being used at its normal level, the length of time being limited to the amount on their body (25 minutes total if they are continuously burned), which cannot be restored until the used energies are restored. The wielder can “flare” this ability to increase the strength he applies to the strength of his body under normal circumstances, essentially increasing the force applied by 10 times. Flaring burns the metals at 10 times the normal rate.

2) Pyūtā Kyouakuhan (Pewter Thug): This ability enhances the wielder’s body. It does not increase muscle mass and bone, but it makes them more solid, improving the wielder’s strength and durability by 3 times. This means that their muscle tissue and bones will be more dense while this is active, making it possible to take hits that would have floored him before. This also increases running speed as a result, and massively increases endurance as long as it is active. His balance improves tremendously, allowing him to keep his feet in the worst of circumstances. This enhanced strength also him to shrug off wounds that would kill or incapacitate him normally, though it must be constantly active in order for the effect to persist.
This ability is limited by the amount of metal that sheaths the wielder’s hair. As long as it’s active, those metals will burn up. That occurs more quickly than the first ability, at a rate 5 times faster than that. If this was constantly active, it would last a total of 5 minutes. He can also “flare” this ability, improving each of these effects by 3 times above where it would be under normal activation, though this also burns the pewter at 5 times the rate.

3) Kuuki Tenka (Air Ignition): A large amount of bismuth is superheated within the wielder’s body and turned entirely to a gas state. This moves to the wielder’s lungs, and is breathed out only when the wielder chooses. The gas focuses itself around the wielder, though only at a maximum of 5 inches off the skin in normal use. It is possible for the wielder to manipulate where it is sent, and therefore which areas of their body are affected. When the bismuth interacts with the air around him, it ignites, producing a blue-white flame. By doing this, he expands all of the particles around his body to such a point that movement is practically friction-less, allowing him to move as much as two times faster than normal. Opponents that attack through the flame will also have reduced friction on their strikes, speeding up their attacks, though they can be lightly burned by the flames. He does feel the heat of their burn (though that is the only effect of the flames he feels), reducing the continuous time he can keep it active, though this also makes it difficult to see his movements, since the flames obscure his physical form.
This ability is limited by the amount of bismuth in the wielder’s body. As long as it’s being used, the amount of bismuth will continue to go down, though ingesting more of it does increase the duration of use. At the maximal amount that’s available in his body at any given time, he is capable of sustaining a full body burn for 10 minutes. He can also “flare” this ability, increasing the distance off of his body that the air ignites to as much as 5 feet and creating a much hotter burn that increases his speed to four times the norm, though this uses up all of his bismuth at 15 times the rate. This is far more difficult to maintain, but makes it nearly impossible for someone with normal eyesight to see how he is moving within the flames.

Bankai Name: Kajiya no Meiro (Blacksmith’s Labyrinth)

Type: Metal/Fire

Release Command: Kakomu… (Enclose…)

Bankai Appearance: Any metallic appearance on his body disappears. The wielder reaches down their throat and pulls out a series of 16 thick metal cylinders (6 inches long, one inch thick), each connected to the other by a small metal cord half their size and each appearing the same. They can be twisted off the metal cord one or multiple at a time. After each of them is used (unless specified otherwise), the wielder can pick it up and wait 10 seconds before the energy in it is recharged. He can only charge them one at a time. The wielder does not like using his bankai unless he absolutely has to, he feels that the energy of his bankai is much further outside of his control as a result of being separated from his body, so he tends to run through his metals before he decides to activate it.

1) Yakin Sesshu (Metallurgic Ingestion): Three extra cylinders remain inside the wielder after he pulls out the 16. One is made of iron, one of pewter, and one of bismuth. They are half the size of the others, and burn continuously upon activation of bankai. This provides the three shikai abilities to him continuously over as much as a 5 hour period. He is capable of flaring those metals, but if he does that, the metals begin to the poison him in much the same way that these metals normally would after long term ingestion. The longer they are flared, the more damage the poison causes, wearing him down quickly over time. He becomes incredibly fatigued, gets headaches that turn into migraines, as well as muscle pain and twitching. 20 minutes of flaring makes the pain from it unbearable.

2) Shino Tobira (Death’s Door): The wielder removes 6 cylinders to utilize this ability (and therefore, 2 of these can be active at once). On a thought, the cylinders arrange themselves into a doorway, flattening out till each becomes 4 feet long and 1 inch thick. These form a line in the sky in front of him, with 3 bars on top and 3 on the bottom, that burns bright white. These expand out to create a doorframe, 4 feet across and 8 feet tall. The door itself looks like static, though several black cracks span over the majority of it, and those who look closely see a variety of scenes flashing through different portions of it. He then moves the door in a direction of his choosing at kido speed. They can only move linearly, but each and be stopped and, after a half-second delay, have their direction modified. The edges of the door are sharp enough to cut through the toughest defense, though a zanpakuto will be able to clash with it, making it possible to parry the door’s advancement. Anything that enters the door, not including an opposing zanpakuto, is vaporized on contact. The door lasts a maximum of 1 minute, after which the bars disengage and fall to the ground.

3) Hi no Hana (Blossoms of Fire): The wielder removes one of the cylinders and throws it. He can “activate” that cylinder at any point after it is released from his hands. When it’s activated, there is a two second delay, during which the bar turns red, extending itself to 10 feet long and thickening to 5 inches wide. It will do no damage to anyone during this short phase, though it does emit a high pitched whining sound. After the two seconds, the bar explodes to 30 feet across in every direction. Anyone within that 30 foot zone would be covered in deep third degree burns with no pushback. For an additional 30 feet outside of that, the heat radiating off of it causes dermal third degree burns and heavy pushback. The effective range is within 250 feet of the blast, though the amount of damage is reduced to light burns and moderate pushback outside the 60 foot range, and that’s reduced the further away it is. The maximum number of these that can be used within a 1 minute is 6.

Name: Vasare Buigetsu

Shikai: Touzukuchi ('Blood thief')

Release command: Slash downward (Kiriorosu)

Bankai: Yuudoku Touzukuchi ('Poisonous blood thief')

Shikai is a short, sickle-like blade, with a black/red tsuba and a guard that resembles a pair of fangs. The blade is red and glows when it cuts the opponent. When Touzukuchi glows, it has sucked out the blood that seeped from the wound. Each time Touzukuchi cuts the opponent, their speed and reaction time slow by about two percent.

Bankai: Bankai is a nodachi, which is longer and slimmer than in Shikai. The blade curves downwards nears the end and has a series of small spikes extending downwards between the curve of the blade and where the blade becomes straight (closer to the tsuba). The Guard is the same, but black instead of gold. The blade of the Zanpakuto is black, but has a red aura around it. When the Zanpakuto cuts the opponent, the blade glows redder and the series of small spikes secrete a toxin into the blood the opponent, which slows the reaction speed and reiatsu of the opponent. The amount slowed by is dependant on the size of the cut and how much blood is released when cut (can be anywhere from 0.1 perecent, to 15 percent)
The amount of reiatsu drained when cut can is small, even with a large cut, but repeated strikes will continue to absorb small amounts of reiatsu (this can be from about 0.1 percent to 2.5 percent)

Thanks blackpanther and frost. Btw, you might be surprised how versatile a blade like this can be, even with the extreme detail. I like to focus on blades that have a lot of avenues by which they can utilize their power.

Gaia, we'll start the Toshiro/Aion fight from where the ice structure lands in front of Aion.

The Captain-Commander senses a strong reiatsu close to where he is. Toshiro uses shunpo and then summons an ice structure, which lands right in front of the intruder.

Toshiro: Who are you? *what's with his reiatsu?* Toshiro thinks to himself.

Intruder: I am Aion, of the Light Clan. I am the leader and we will destroy you Shinigami scum for locking us away many thousands of years ago.

Toshiro: I will protect the Soul Society. Reign over the frosted heavens, Hyorinmaru. *Ice dragons burst out of the end of the Zanpakuto and fly towards Aion.

Aion lifts a barrier around himself.

Aion: that was so weak! Come on aren't you supposed to be a commander.

Toshiro swiftly appears in front of Aion landing a dropkick on his head. Then blasts him away with an ice strike.

Toshiro: Ryoka I don't know who you are but I will defend my home even if it means I have to kill you.

Aion appears in front of the shinigami and releases a shakkahou in his face blasting him several yards away.

Aion: Oh really? Well then I'll just have to kill you then destroy your home.

Toshiro: Bakudo 81, Danku! You were saying? Kill me? That won't happen. You haven't seen anything yet. Ryusenka!

A wave of ice slices through the air, freezing everything in sight and coating the Ryoka in a thick layer of ice.

After a moment the Aion raises his reiatsu and breaks through the layer of ice.

Aion: We WILL have our revenge, Captain-Commander. That weak attack won't stop me, or even hurt me.

Toshiro: *flash-stepping behind the other* You shouldn't let your guard down. *Slashes Aion through the shoulder*

The illusion of Aion disappears.

Aion:(appearing several feet infront of Toshiro with a small cut on his shoulder.) Neither should you.

A spear of light falls from above Toshiro pinning him to the ground.

Toshiro:(thinking) ~damn what the hell was that~

Aion:(charging a shakkahou) receive your punishment commander.

Toshiro freezes the pillar and charges at Aion slicing thin air as the illusion dissipates.

Aion: (reappering above Toshiro releases a blast of light) Die commander!

Toshiro: You are still underestimating me. Bankai!

An explosion of white reiatsu bursts up into the air and an icy wind begins to blow, sending a shiver down the spine of the Scola and blowing the light blast away.

Aion: So this is your Bankai...

Toshiro: Daiguren Hyorinmaru...

Now the Captain-Commander is fused with ice. His arms are cotaed in ice and have long claws, while wings of ice have sprung out of his back, giving him the appearance of an angel made from ice.

Aion looked ahead in awe. So this is the power of the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. The weather had already begun to change with the release of Toshiro's Bankai and dark cloud had already begun to gather above them.

Aion: So cold... *Then the intruder leaps at the Captain-Commander, intending to cut him a with lance of light, but found that the other had already dodged and begun a counter-attack. The Zanpakuto and light lance clashed together.

Toshiro: I won't let you destroy my home. Die, Ryoka! *Toshiro released his reiatsu, blowing the intruder backwards, then he leapt in for the kill, thrusting his Zanpakuto through the sky.

Aion: *parrying the blow* I don't care! We will have our revenge for being treated like animals. Damn Shinigami!

Toshiro: That happened thousands of years ago and none of us were even alive then. Your desire for revenge is ridiculous!

Aion forces the other man back, anger evident in his voice.

Aion: Shut up! Die, you bastard.

The intruder fires a beam of light, condensed down to a small beam, which pierces his shoulder, leaving a small enrance hole and an exit hole.

Toshiro: Damn. *Swipes his blade, firing a bunch of shrap icicles at Aion.
