Considering the Down year for both the Twins and White Sox last season..and the uproar with the Pirates until the call at home,and also the Reds had a pretty down year..especially after going into the Playoffs the Year before..also The Brewers and Cardinals were pretty much scrapping and battling almost all year,which it actually became a pretty intense rivalary over the course of the season..well the Astros were okay..I mean they did trade some of key players over the past couple seasons like Lance Berkman,Hunter Pence etc. yeah you get my point,but it's pretty fair to say each Central had some let downs this year..especially the Tribe they were so well for so long,I was surprised,I guess their young pitchers ran out of gas at the end..and the Injury to Travis Hafner was big as well,but the "re"-acquisition of Jim Thome was rather big..but before that,The Tigers pretty much got them..The Sox,there year was disappointing especially Alex Rios' year esp. coming off what he did the year before..Adam Dunn it was his first year as an everyday DH and in the AL,so I think he'll get that ironed out by next season,so i'm not worried with him..but I mean overall I think NL central was stronger in the course of the '11 season.
