Well it really depends how much talent and skill is needed, as well as roles determines more whether or not younger or older ballet dancers are needed in my opinion. Like in big ballets like Swan Lake would require older, more talented and skilled ballerina's because if they went for more younger unexperienced ballerinas, the ballet just wouldn't get the same kind of feeling I think.
