I'd like to think so, anyway.

If there is a god, s/he isn't going to be any of the gods that people have invented via organised religion, so I would think that s/he is simply nothing more than a cosmic entity, without personality.

^We are. I know this question sounds quite agnostic-ish, but I just wanted to hear others' opinions on the possibilty there might be god(s).
It's all about thinking and hypothesis. ;)

If there was a god I would like to think he/she/it would be disgusted with the people who use him/her/it as an excuse for their prejudice and bigotry, and as a reason to commit murder. And that if their was a god that he/she/it would love all the people on this planet regardless of wether they worship/believe or not.

Some say he's loving and merciful, but it doesn't seem that way judging by the bible. And then there's the Westboro Bapties who say that God hates everyone, except for them, because they're fucking flawless.

I wish I could give my opinion on God, but apparently He'll smite me unless I tell Him about how He is awesome and loving. And then I'll sacrifice a goat and have a bunch of post-marital sex with someone of the opposite gender. Yeah, I'm pretty much guaranteed to get into heaven, guys.

I agree with misanthrope86. IF there was an intelligent creator, it wouldn't be anything described by religions. Religion is invented by humans, concepts of an intelligent creator or theories of humans.

I think, if there was a god/goddess, he/she would have made the world and just left it and made other worlds, not watch over it. Also, the creation of the world DEFINITELY wouldn't have taken a week. That has got to be the most unrealistic part of religion. -_-

There's so many religions focused on one deity, so I wouldn't be sure that if there was a god (or gods) that they'd be the one from Christianity or any other religion. If the god was from Christianity (according to the Bible's interpretation) I'd see him to be a bit of a tyrant.

If the god came from no religion, I'd say an absent or subtle one.

He is loving, just, holy and everything good. He is Goodness itself. He is Love. He is Joy, and Peace, Patience, Kindness, Faithful, Gentle, Holy, Just, Life...He is everything good in this world. He is Truth. He is All-Knowing. He never changes, He is All-Powerful, He is everywhere; omnipresent. He is so wonderful, our human minds can't even begin to comprehend what He is like. And there are not enough words in the English language to describe Him! He is indescribable!

If it's there's a god like all the monotheistic religions think god is, then he's a lonely, selfish, egoistic, self-centered, sexist bastard who created people for their lives to revolve around him, and throw them in hell if they don't.

If there are many gods I'd say they simply had nothing to do and created us as a fun project with their friends. This is exactly how polytheism sounds to me.

Otherwise I really don't know.
